Ranma rushed back to the auction. Looking around, to his relief, nobody else was there but the seller. He looked at the rather large bundle of money in his hands, his total savings. He walked up to the seller and told him,
" Here's your money, mister---actually, I didn't quite capture your name."
" Mister Toltiir, my name is Toltiir."
" Okay, is that gajinn? Well, anyways, here's your money, Mister Toltiir." Ranma said passing the 40,866.60 yen to Toltiir.
" Well's here the keys," said Toltiir passing the keys to Ranma," there's a few things you need to know about this starship. First of all, even though it can travel through time, it can't go through a Time Lock, but those are relatively rare and the ship's computer will tell you when there's one. Secondly, this ship is fully prepared for renovations and additions in case you want to do that. Thirdly, there's an instruction booklet in the cockpit. Well, I'm off. See ya!" Toltiir laughed ominously before walking away.
"Huh, that was a bit weird." Ranma wondered before shrugging and opening the door to the starship.
Unknown to Ranma, Toltiir, once out of sight, removed his glasses and morphed into a black cat and laughed.
" This should prove to be amusing, very amusing."
It was then that Toltiir saw something extremely amusing heading towards the starship. " Oh, this just makes it even sweeter!" he laughed. He snickered with the thought that the person who was heading towards the starship and hopefully to join Ranma on his journey was none other than...
