Sooner or later an opportunity would come and Satsuki Uchiha would have some vengeance against Sakura Haruno. It was inevitable. It was less pressing than dealing with That Man.
There were things about this though that DID disturb Sasuke Uchiha mightily. Going to use the bathroom for example, which was a Western-style toilet and fairly modern, had been... messy and requiring things that she hadn't wanted to consider.
Satsuki Uchiha discovered that flavors were different, and that she seemed a little more sensitive in the nose. Not enough to track things, but scents seemed to be more notable somehow.
"Naruto," said Satsuki as she got up from the breakfast table the priest had brought out. "We are going to burn everything orange in your wardrobe."
"EH?!" Naruto looked horrified. "WHY?!"
"I have no idea why you wear that color, but we're on ninja missions," said Satsuki, explaining as if to a child. "That includes not being a blindingly obvious target."
"But..." Naruto looked down at one sleeve.
"You can try to get attention in other ways," said Satsuki. "Besides, that color is making me nauseous."
"It didn't seem to bother you before," said Naruto.
"That was before..." Satsuki let that statement trail off as she considered that. Appearance DID seem to be a bit more important than previously.
"We should go with a makeover!" said Sakura, hoping to deflect attention away from her and onto Naruto.
"Urk," said a horrified Naruto.
"There are enemy ninja on this mission," pointed out Satsuki. "Maybe we should just concentrate on concealment value."
"You seem awfully calm about this," said Kakashi, watching carefully.
"I am, aren't I?" agreed Satsuki. She shrugged, not really knowing why she was so calm about this. Kind of numb actually. "Mission first. Training second. Chasing Sakura all over the village, repeatedly hitting her with a large blunt object - that will have to wait."
"Ah," said Kakashi.
"Or maybe a bullwhip, that might work better," said Satsuki. "Know where I can get one?"
The priest clapped his hands three times, then rubbed them together. "Most ominous."
"Agreed," mumbled Sakura, trying to edge away from Satsuki.
"We'll see," said Kakashi. "Are we ready to go?"
Kakashi walked behind his three genin and the client, apparently reading his book.
He was actually keeping an eye out on his surroundings and particularly on one of his genin. He recognized that Sasuke was currently in shock. When the formerly male Uchiha came out of it - there was really no telling what would happen.
