[Episode 24728] [Episode 24728]Setsuna rubbed the sharp ridge of her nose in thought. Those musk people sounded like a possibility, but only if they were sure they could deal with the possible attempts at capturing them. Right now she doubted that ability strongly.
None of them had tried to transform into their sailor forms, what with the Guide being around, but Setsuna had the feeling that they would not be able to do it, even if they tried. She could feel her connection to the planet Pluto only very weakly and tenuously, just as she had, during their time as pure animals. She had hoped that turning human would have reinstated that connection fully, but that hadn't happened. Somehow their reincarnation had made their Sailor powers dormant, and she was sure that it would take some strong magic to re-awaken it.
They had repaired to the Guide's hut with Ranma. She wasn't sure where Genma had run off to, but she wasn't much interested either. He'd turn back up sooner than they would like, she was sure. Annoyances like him always did. Ranma had woken up and immediately fainted again twice. The fact that they were still completely naked and Ami was still rubbing up against him - or her - probably didn't help.
"I guess we'll have to wait and see," she said. "We can't risk the Musk yet. We only just regained our humanity - well, partially regained it - and getting enslaved by a chinese tribe of chauvinists is not among our top priorities. We'll keep our eyes open for possible cures, but for now we'll just have to learn how to deal with our dual natures."
"No hot baths," said Rei, who was still trying to get the hang of having arms and fingers again.
"Have to be very careful when drinking tea," said Michiru. She knelt down next to Haruka and petted the greyhound, who started panting happily, while her rear legs twitched.
Setsuna saw Usagi rummaging in Ranma's pack, pulling out some of his clothing. "Good thinking, Usagi!" she lauded. "We really should think about getting some clothes, if we're going to move among humans again."
"Yes, please!" said the guide, but they ignored him.
Usagi looked up at Setsuna and wrinkled her nose. "Oh. Actually I was just looking if Ranma still had some of those carrots that we got yesterday. Uh. But you can have the clothes if you want to."
Setsuna sweatdropped.
They quickly went through Ranma's and Genma's packs and totalled up the sets of clothing they had to share: three in Ranma's size and four in Genma's.
"Well," said Setsuna, "Let's see what we can do with that."
Rei eyed Ranma's clothing critically. "You, Makoto, and I are built slim enough to put on Ranma's things, if we don't mind a tight fit and showing off our midriff. Ami, too - she's smaller than he is."
"But we only have three of them to go around," Minako pointed out.
"I definitely need one of Genma's," Hotaru said, holding one of Ranma's shirts up against her tall frame.
"Yes," said Setsuna. "You, Minako, Michiru, and Usagi would be able to wear his size, if you tie the waist of the pants tightly. Haruka doesn't need clothes right now-"
"Wurf!" Haruka protested at the notion of being left in dog form for the duration. Michiru quickly calmed her down with some more petting that made her tail wag involuntarily.
"-but even so we're still one set short," Setsuna finished, not taking notice of the interruption.
"Oh, that's no problem," said Ami suddenly. She rolled off Ranma and to her feet in one fluid motion, then slinked sexily over to where the guide was stoically ignoring the bevy of naked, beautiful girls in his hut. She grabbed the kettle that still contained some hot water and up-ended it over herself. As the kettle clattered to the ground, the little blue-furred kitten padded back to the cot, hopped up, slipped under Ranma's shirt and nestled between the pillows of her breasts, purring contentedly.
The other Senshi sweatdropped in unison.
"She doesn't mind being Ranma's pet much, does she?" asked Minako.
In truth, none of them did. The time they had spent with him and the care and friendship he had shown them had turned all of them into domesticated pets, to some extent. Most of them felt a pang of jealousy, wanting to do exactly as Ami did - except Usagi, who was still distracted by her search for those carrots - but they all still retained some small reticence, which allowed them to hold back, just barely. In fact, if Ranma had been in male form, they probably would have succumbed already.
"Err, yes," said Setsuna. "Ami has been much more... in tune with her new body than the rest of us."
At that point Usagi came hopping back, finally having found the last of the carrots. She bounced to a stop next to Rei, munched on the carrot, and asked, "What's up? Oh, that looks so cute! Ne, is there any hot water left? I want to cuddle, too!"
"Most of us," Setsuna corrected herself.
With the question of clothing cleared up, the Senshi covered themselves up for the first time in a very long while. It felt strange to them, and not just because the clothes were rather ill-fitting. With that matter closed, they...
