The simplest attack was a shot of Wind-based chakra. That was all, something that cut the target. Of course, should he switch from long-range-precision to full-assault, he could throw LOTS of those little attacks out.
He could put a windblade out at the end for close range, but the Intelligent Device named Kuregata was best attacking at a distance. Of course, that meant anything from a few yards to a few kilometers away.
Naruto's form blurred as he was gone for a second in his own world and time.
When he disappeared, he was wearing his usual cold-weather clothing that was predominantly orange. He was twelve years old, slender, but showing signs that he'd been working out.
The Naruto who reappeared was wearing predominantly gray clothing that included a hooded jacket. His hair was longer and less spiky. He was also taller and older, roughly fifteen years old and wiry like a gymnast.
[Scanning area. No threats located.]
There was a series of clicks and pops, followed by the hiss of a steam jet going off, before Kuregata folded up into the "rest" form of a small disc.
The ancient Belkan had had an enemy. That enemy had specialized in long-range attacks. Some VERY long-range. Their armor piercing attacks had gotten them the name Assassin Devices. The enemy had not had a large number of warriors, and so had used stealth and patience and positioning to strike and fade away.
This was the sort of device that had been Naruto's tutor in the ways of combat and magic.
Naruto reached inside his coat and pulled out a small pack, which he stuck onto the fallen Hinata's neck. There was a brief hiss.
When he held the device back up and examined the face of it, Naruto frowned at the results before shrugging.
He had to meet with the Hokage.
