"Room 212," said the nurse automatically before looking up.

Kakashi paused and looked to the side. "Guys. Hold up."

Saber leaned against a wall, waiting.

An ANBU appeared in a swirl of leaves. "Kakashi Hatake."

"Do you mind?" asked the nurse. "We have to have someone sweep that up now or it's a falling hazard for our ambulatory patients."

"Hokage business," said the ANBU.

The nurse came around her desk to stand directly in front of the masked figure. "Be as it may, this is a hospital and I'm the HUC (Health Unit Coordinator) for this floor. That means I'm in charge, and you ninja want to do your ninja-stuff away from here that's fine. Don't bloody clutter the floor with leaves. Or rose petals, raven feathers, sakura leaves, or any other dramatic visual effect. You got that?"

"I'd suggest just agreeing," said Kakashi to the ANBU. "Otherwise next time you come in for injuries, she might forget the pain meds."

"Oh, uhm, sorry," said the ANBU.

The charge nurse nodded once and returned to her desk.

"What is it?" asked Kakashi.

The ANBU turned back to Kakashi, reaching into a sleeve and withdrawing a mission scroll.

Kakashi took it, casually breaking the seal and flipping it open so that the first few inches were visible. After a few moments where only his eye moved, he nodded. "Okay. We'll be going within the hour."

The ANBU vanished. Leaves swirled.

The nurse growled.

"Team 7," said Kakashi. "Make preparations for an extended mission out of Konoha."

"A mission?" asked Naruto.

"I'll give you details when we meet in front of the Hokage's Tower," said Kakashi. "You have fifteen minutes, better get moving."

"No time to visit Sakura then," noted Naruto.

• Hunting a wild animal that seems to be able to use chakra.
• The TSAB has a lead on a Weapon Of Power that is currently in Naruto's universe.
• A criminal being transported to a penal colony is believed escaped and in a neighboring universe that is also unaligned with the TSAB.
• Someone has an Artifact Of Power and is using it, unfortunately it's apparently in a world the TSAB can't enter due to an old treaty. Team 7 is requested to investigate.
• a Survey Ship of the TSAB was attacked and has gone missing. Extra searchers are needed for the Search & Rescue portion since the trail intersects several dimensional boundaries.
• some other plotline
