Naruto collapsed with Hinata on top of him, which was sufficient to wake her up.
"EH? EH! Ah!" said Hinata as she practically teleported herself, off of Naruto.
"As amusing as this is," said the older guy there. "Naruto apparently has to rest before he can try teleporting again. You're a Hyuga, main branch of the clan, yes?"
"Y-yes," said Hinata. "Hinata Hyuga."
"I'm Jiraiya of the Sannin," said the older man.
"We were in Misato's apartment," said a red-haired girl. "Now we're in a forest?!"
"Yes, that does sum it up," said Jiraiya to the girl, before returning his attention to Hinata. "If you would activate your Byakugan and determine exactly where we are?"
"Oh, hell, I'm going to get in SUCH trouble for this," said the adult woman as she opened a beer and chugged it.
"H-how can they blame you for something like this?" said a young boy nervously looking all around him.
"They'll find a way," said the woman, interrupting her chug briefly to answer.
"So, when he gets the hang of it, and recovers from the effort of his teleport jutsu, Naruto just has to teleport back to YOUR home and THEN back to Konoha," said Jiraiya. "This might be a good time for introductions. The blonde idiot with no control over a teleportation jutsu is Naruto Uzumaki. I am, as I said, the famous Jiraiya!"
"Rei Ayanami," said the albino.
"Shinji Ikari," said the boy. "'Teleportation jutsu'?"
"I was just asking for help with kanji, why was that so difficult for it to just go without an angel attack or some other nonsense?" grumped the red-head.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" said Misato, wiping beer foam off her lips with the back of her hand. "Captain Misato Katsuragi of NERV Japan. Operations director."
"Oh really?" asked Jiraiya. "You're in a military group? Samurai?"
"Not so much..." said Misato, looking over the guy's clothing. "What are you supposed to be, anyway? A historical actor?"
"Ninja," said Jiraiya.
"Aren't you supposed to be wearing all black and stuff?" asked the redhead.
"No, he'd be the 'legendary mystic' type as opposed to the 'stab in the back' type," said Misato, nodding at her charge.
"Hinata?" asked Jiraiya.
"Right," said Hinata, her hands moving quickly through various seals. "Byakugan!"
"I don't suppose we're outside our village," said Jiraiya, his voice indicating how unlikely he thought it.
"No, and there's some really weird creatures nearby," said Hinata.
"How weird?" asked Jiraiya.
"Pika pi!"
"Never mind," said Jiraiya as some yellow creature started checking Naruto's pockets for something to eat.
"...a pikachu?" asked Misato of the creature.
"Pi pi pi pikachu!" said the creature, looking up at Misato.
"I don't suppose you know any place selling beer around here?" asked Misato.
