"Incoming!" Hinata called out fervently.
[Blitz Aktion] Kleinhoffen called out as Hinata blurred out of view and tried to intercept the person she'd seen coming into the scene.
"Kunai blasts!" Naruto called out swinging Mjolnir to point to a spot of ground that had been sent to him in a brief image.
Kurenai was also moving, putting herself between the bridge keeper and anything else. Ino, for her part twisted about toward the captive ninja and opened her mouth wide, fangs swinging down into place from the back of her neck before she bit down and felt muscles in her mouth pumping venom forward.
A burst of smoke erupted at the point Hinata appeared at, and several more as orange, kunai shaped energy blasts peppered the area around her. But some of the dust was pulled out in a wisp, showing the passage of something moving almost too fast to see.
And then, Zabuza's form was ripped away from Ino as she pulled away from him.
In the next moment, the scene was quite.
"Damn it, he got away," Naruto snapped. "Was he faster than you?"
"No, not raw speed," Hinata said. "But I think my intentions were telegraphed."
"We need to get Tazuna-san to a secure place immediately," Kurenai said. "They'll be back as soon as they can. Ino, what did you do?"
"I bit him," the girl said embarrassed. The other three turned to look at her and she shrugged nervously. "It made sense at the time."
"He shall be spending some time recovering," Hinata said.
"Venom?" Kurenai asked.
"Yeah, Terra's wasn't that strong," Naruto said. "She said she thought it was because she was too nice."
"Okay, we're good then," Ino said. "Because I can really be a bitch."
Kurenai arched an eyebrow.
"What, I can," Ino said.
"Yes, but you normally don't call yourself that..." Hinata said slowly.
"We're going to need to call in reinforcements for this," Zabuza said weakly as he pulled himself up from where his body had tried to eject his stomach.
"We do not have that many others we can turn to with the Demon Brothers captured," Haku noted.
"We have enough," Zabuza said.
