That it would be horribly incomplete due to last-minute changes was a given by members of the club, and completely unknown to KOS-MOS at present.
She would learn of this though.
It had been two weeks since Keiichi Morisato had ended up with a blue-haired robot-girl on his table.
"Morisato," said Tamiya. "A girl is forbidden in the dorms."
"I thought we already had this conversation and that because she's a robot girl it was okay," noted Keiichi.
"Except that our neighbors reported seeing a girl moving around here," said Tamiya.
"She hasn't moved around a lot that I knew of," commented Keiichi.
"Yeah, well, one of 'em may have been spyin' or something," admitted Ootaki. "We'll sort that out later. In the meantime-"
"Right," said Keiichi. If it was reported - then someone would be by to check out that report. KOS-MOS had to be elsewhere by then.
"Three wheel base from an off-road vehicle, I see," said KOS-MOS with no indication of emotion in her voice.
"It gives you some mobility," said Keiichi. "You'll be in the club garage in a storage locker. We're wiring it for internet and for the security system to route through there."
"As I do not require air, food, or water, it is suitable for temporary housing," said KOS-MOS.
"I know you don't like it, neither do I, it's just a solution to the current problems until we work something else out," noted Keiichi.
"Understood." KOS-MOS was silent as Keiichi made connections to the base.
"Anyway, this gets you some mobility when you need it," said Keiichi. "In case there's an emergency or something."
CLICK!
VRUUUUM!
"An electric motor would be better," noted KOS-MOS. "Carbon monoxide venting will be required for operation of substitute limbs."
"We're working on that," admitted Keiichi. "The problem is that on-campus it is going to be even more difficult to keep you secret."
"Understood," repeated KOS-MOS as she backed up the ramp into the reinforced section meant to conceal her.
