"Perhaps a compromise?" A smooth japanese voice offered. The three females turned to see a strange man walking out of the mists. He wore a bright red bodysuit and full helmet. on his breast was a golden v with the number 35 above it. on his belt were the symbols XXXV, the Roman symbols for 35. On his shoulder rested a well known black cat with divine markings on it's face.
It was the Legendary guardian of all Sentai, Akared, and the ever tricky Toltiir.
Setsuna felt herself grow slightly tense. There had always been an unspoken rivalry between magical girls like herself and Sentai groups like the realms Akared watched over. There was also some professional envy as well. She sometimes had difficulty watching over her eight(nine counting chibi-usa) charges, Akared had hundreds of charges spread over two universes (He also kept watch over that western version universe as well) and kept them so well balanced that they literally took care of themselves! He'd only ever had to get involved personally twice!
Setsuna squashed her feelings of jealousy as Celestia offered a hoof and Madoka bowed at the new arrivals. "Greetings Sir Akared. I am Celestia, Goddess of the sun and Queen of Equestria. I am honoured to meet you."
"Me too!" Madoka added brightly
Akared nodded as he shook the Alicorns hoof. "It is an honour to be here. Forgive my directness but overheard the three of you discussing a field trip of some sort for your little ponies?"
Celestia nodded elegantly. "Yes, They need more experience using their powers and felt that having them interact with beings who have more experience in battling evil would help teach them life lessons about the powers they've been given."
Akared nodded as his furry companion leapt off his shoulders and snagged a teacup. "an interesting idea. Setsuna's fellow senshi would make excellent teacher's, some quite literally, others more by example. Madoka's realms as well could offer aid, there would no doubt be some valuable lesson's for them there as well hm...."
Setsuna spoke up. "what of your realms Akared? surely some of them have great lessons to teach as well" The senshi of time grinned behind her teacup as she said this, not that she didn't mind having some equestrian visitors to her dimension, she just needed time to get Usagi presentable (and some of the others to but they didn't take so long) first.
Akared blinked under his helmet "I'm not sure my realms are completly appropriate"
"An excellent Idea!" Celestia spoke up, cutting the masked hero off. "I'm actually an avid fan of your realms, and my sister absoulutly adores your western variants, even the ones those internet trolls seem to dislike. Plus they could even bring those little filly's Twilight occasionally writes to me about who are searching for their cutie marks. What were their names again?....."
As Akared sighed and nodded his agreement to the plan Toltiir finished his cup of tea and spoke up. "Well now that thats settled, just one thing left to decide." The cat god said, bringing all eye's on him. "Which realm will your little ponies visit first?"
