"Sorry I'm late."
Setsuna and Princess Celestia turned to see a youngish woman in a flowing very light pink almost white dress. Her hair was bright faded pink that reached almost to her feet and flowed without wind, much like Celestia's mane. Glowing yellow eyes regarded the the sun goddess and time guardian with a friendly smile.
"Welcome Madoka." Setsuna said simply not reacting startled to the newcomer's presence at all. "Care for some tea? I have an cup ready for you already."
The de facto goddess of all magical girls happily nodded, "That would be great!"
"Setsuna and I were just discussing some help that some of my subjects needed in learning how to protect their world from dangers." Said the winged unicorn, or was that horned pegasus?
"-You- were discussing," Setsuna corrected putting down her tea for a moment, "I had not yet agreed or disagreed to anything."
"Hence discussing."
"It's not discussing if I haven't even heard your proposal yet."
"Uh, should I come back at another time?" Madoka asked a bit confused.
"No." Senshi and Alicorn said together looking at her.
Madoka Kaname: Puella Magi, Magical Girl, Immature Witch, Goddess, Divine Force, The Concept of Hope. The girl who made the wish that completely broke and remade the system that afterwards in exchange left her as an omnipresent force and with none but the time traveling magical girl Homura Akemi and her little brother to even know she ever existed as a person.
Of course that only applies to HER universe. There were many timelines, but Madoka was still determined to eventually go through them all, and rescue each and every Puella Magi from the fate of becoming a Witch, those unnatural things of nightmares that drove humans to murder and suicide.
Madoka sat down to have tea with the ageless and loneliest of all the senshi and the sun deity who had helped Madoka learn to cope with the heavy mantle of eternity. After all, a new god didn't come into the multi-verse without OTHER gods noticing.
Madoka had to admit it was good, but it wasn't as good as Mami's, she'd have to bring some next time she visited.
Celestia reexplained her desire to teach the holders of the Element of Harmony to use their power without having to force the power out from danger or relying on it to come out on the power's own accord.
"You know." Madoka said, "There are many versions of me still in time-loops from different versions of Homuras trying to alter fate. When they make the same wish as me, we become one. But the point is, is that there's always somewhere a version of me about to make that fated wish that defined everything weather I become the concept of hope or Kriemhild Gretchen."
"We know Madoka." Setsuna said, "I'm going to have to have a long talk with that Homura girl sometime. I can appreciate her rejecting timeline after timeline in a mad hope of somehow coming out with the timeline SHE wants, oh wait, no, I can't, I don't double back on myself and I know history is ever changing along with the future. Anyway, why are you talking about all this now?"
"I was just thinking . . . Kyubey keeps talking about how magic is the only force that can counter act entropy, and the Puella Magi/Witch cycle is the only thing that can produce it in effective quantities. But Equestia is overflowing is magic. . . . it would cut down on my work load if Puella Magi could produce magic without having to ultimately degrade into Witches . . . and in a world where friendship is magic, I can see it helping a version of Madoka and her versions of Homura, Sayaka and the others."
Celestia and Pluto looked at each other concerned.
"Madoka . . ." Pluto said carefully, "Six elements of harmony, the inner and possible outer senshi is nine or ten, and five or six Puella Magic? That's over twenty magic users at once . . . are you that's not too complicated to do all at once?"
