The Destroyer itself found Naruto interesting on several levels. On the surface, just another brash youth with more courage than sense. More ideals than the ability to back them up.
There had come an initial scan, done carefully lest he destroy the individual being scanned. Many things were found.
The traces of one Kushina Uzumaki being just one such thing, and it didn't really require much to reinforce and strengthen the mana construct.
On finding someone attacking the core energies of her son, reaching inside him to do so, Kushina did what came natural to the Red Hot Habanero of Konohagakure.
The intruding hand tried to pull back with its prize. Kushina grabbed the wrist, braced, and began pulling herself. The intruder began resisting, somewhat frantically from the feel of it, about the time her elbow entered the space.
Kushina gritted her teeth, used a taijutsu joint-lock with both of her arms on the intruding arm, and started hauling the intruder in.
"It's got me!" said Shamal, her usual calm pretty much derailed by something this unexpected happening.
"WHAT has got you?" asked Vita, trying to figure out what to do.
"The boy's linker core is fighting back?" asked Shamal. "I... aieeeee!"
Vita grabbed one of Shamal's legs before the whole woman could be pulled through the disc. She managed to stop Shamal before more than her waist could go through.
Shamal blinked as she was now halfway through her own teleport disc, with someone (probably Vita) tugging on her legs and a redhaired woman she didn't recognize who had one of her arms in a lock. "What? Where?"
The redhaired woman made a gesture, and suddenly chains erupted from the walls and ceiling and floor to wrap around Shamal.
"What?!" repeated Shamal as the woman let go of her arm.
The woman walked slowly forward, cracking the knuckles of one hand, then the knuckles of the other hand, a look of fierce determination on her face.
"Oh crap..." summed up Shamal.
"Let go of my son," said the woman, stepping forward and swinging.
Vita felt the sudden shock travelling through Shamal's body. Quickly followed by Shamal squirming a lot as lots of similar shocks began occurring.
Signum landed and quickly assessed things. "We need to leave now. Zafira!"
The wolf appeared and shifted to humanoid form, then grabbed Shamal's legs and started hauling her back out of her teleport. It was difficult, especially with the amount of squirming Shamal was doing, but finally, with a ripping sound - they got about half of her clothes.
"Okay, that didn't work so well," said Vita as she got up from where she'd been dumped on her butt.
Shamal, on the other hand, was gone.
Signum cooly observed. "We need to get out of here. Our master can resurrect her."
"Those bastards!" said Vita, staring across at the building. "I'll make them pay for Shamal's death A HUNDREDFOLD!"
"How?"
"What do you mean how?" asked Vita, glancing over at Signum.
"If 'Shamal' was killed, how are you going to kill anyone a hundred times to avenge her?"
Vita blinked as that hadn't been telepathic and Signum's mouth hadn't moved. Slowly she looked over to the side.
"Hi there!" chirped a redhaired woman who was more petite than the one inside Naruto, waving one hand in a friendly manner. "I just got one thing to say about all this."
Her much paler companion nodded but remained silent.
"And what's that?" asked Vita, dropping the half of Shamal's clothing.
"Elmekia LANCE!" said the redhead.
"Badger Slash!" said the pale one.
Nanoha clutched her side, breathing with the pain, and watching as the fight went in a completely bizarre direction.
The two with the hammer-girl were fighting two women over there. The pony-tailed woman who'd been fighting Fate-chan unleashed some massive attack on the staff-wielder, who blocked it and then RETURNED IT.
"I gotta learn how to do that," said Nanoha. That would make life SO much easier.
In the meantime, the diminuitive redhead was throwing bolts and bits at hammer-girl.
Fate and Chrono landed nearby, also watching before deciding to take airborne "ready" positions.
A flare of light, a disc formed, and the green-clad (though for some reason nude from the waist down) woman dropped down onto the rooftop.
A moment later and the barrier was down and the four intruders were flying away, shooting attacks back at their pursuers. Who happened to be Fate, Chrono, and Arf.
