Fiancee Lottery: Overdose of Niceness [Episode 25051]

by Jamil Nate

And so the Great Will of the Universe went to work, using Ranma Saotome's subconscious thoughts for completeness. It swapped his old fiancees with new ones, searching for candidates answering the criteria of niceness asked for.

Belldandy Tendo, the eldest Tendo sister (thanks to a dying wish of Kimiko Tendo), volunteered to be Ranma's 'true fiancee' when he arrived. Nabiki and Akane were obviously distressed at his curse and he seemed to be such a nice young man... Now if Dr. Tofu stopped trying to kill her fiance !

In China, Ranma and Genma found a tribal village near Jusenkyo populated by Juraian survivors. He had wandered into their Temple and accidently woke up Sasami Jurai, avatar of the goddess Tsunami, who was in suspended animation since the fall of their homeworld. Juraian Law and Tradition was clear : He had to marry her like the first emperor did with the last avatar millenia ago.

When Ranma was younger, he was best friend with little Mutsumi-chan when the Saotomes stayed near Hinata-sou during their training trip. They promised each other to go to Toudai together and live happily ever after. Well, now that she's all grown up, Ranma can't mistake her for a boy any longer...

Poor Ranma, all his fiancees are gentle, kind and understanding people who always give him the benefit of the doubt. They don't insult him, don't hit him or resort to dirty tricks to win his hand. The situation is becoming unbearable. If he chooses one, he hurts the others and... Oh, the angst !
