Minako was pleased to see Rei was already at the Mizuno family's condo, and she was already in her Sailor Mars/Weretiger from. "Rei!"
"Minako! Great! Let's do this together." she replied, and then opened the door which was half off its hinges anyway, ready for anything.
Except what she saw.
Ami - as Sailor Mercury and in hybrid form, was staring in shock out of a huge hole in the condo's wall. An older, male wererat was attending another female were rat, who was crying, and seemed to have burned her hand. "Uhh... what?"
Mercury noticed them. "Oh, hi. Um... thanks for coming," she said in a rather distracted manner.
Rei and Minako shared a glance. "What happened Mercury? Where's the Daimon? Are those the wererats that attacked your family?" Minako asked.
Mercury shook off her daze. "Uh... no. He's my father. She's the girl who was turned into a wererat yesterday... Akane, I believe."
"And the Daimon?"
"Well... when the dagger transformed, the three wererats turned into their rat forms and ran off somewhere. My father and I were keeping it busy when she," she pointed at Akane, "burst in, saw the monster, and punched it."
Rei and Minako blinked. "She... punched it?"
Ami nodded. "Yes. And it burned her badly."
"So where's the Daimon?"
Ami pointed out the hole. Looking down, her fellow senshi saw the Daimon. Or at least its legs. The rest of it was embedded in the sidewalk.
Large beads of sweat appeared behind their heads. "Are you sure she just punched it?"
Ami nodded.
Minako whistled. "I didn't think wererats were known for great strength..."
"They're not."
That was when Ami's father finished up. "Well, that's done. But I wouldn't recommend using that hand for a while..." then he noticed Minako and Rei. With a yelp, he leapt behind Akane. Seeing what he had, she gave her own squeak, and jumped behind Hikaru. This continued until both hit the wall.
This time, all three senshi sweatdropped. "Uh... I don't think they can handle werecats at the moment..." Ami said.
"Sure, we'll just go and dust the Daimon..." Rei replied, dragging Minako out with her...
