Lelouch Lamperouge was sitting in his room looking up at the stars after he caught sight of some unknown object with trailing green light fly up to the little lights in the dark sky.
Not to mention Suzaku's little confession of his ambition to become the Knight of One. How much had the two of them changed since the happy times they were children those 8 years ago?
Hearing Nunnally's voice through the phone and not to break down and address her as his little sister knowing what his former friend will do was the most difficult thing he could do. If he did Suzaku would kill him and the Emperor would use Geass to make it seem he had died during Britannia's invasion those years ago.
'Is he stupid and foolish enough to believe that Charles will let him become the Knight of One in order for him to have that privilege of ruling Japan? Suzaku's already killed thousands of his own or I should say former countrymen to become a Knight of the Round. Not to mention if I think about it he handed Charles the Sakuradite deposits in Japan allowing Britannia to expand its campaigns against other countries who had done nothing against it. I can't say much about blood being on his hands since I have that too but not the amount he has. How many people have suffered because of Suzaku's actions?'
Lelouch just shook his head and snorted.
'As if Charles would give a traitor such a rank that comes with that benefit. Thanks to him and Euphemia any chance of a free Japan not to mention using it as a starting point to unite the world against Britannia was destroyed. Accepting Euphemia's offer would have meant the Black Knights becoming powerless and Charles would use his assassins to kill us off in accidents and by rejecting her offer would have meant us becoming pariahs.'
Lelouch shook his head in sadness at the death of his sister and with the hints that C.C. was dropping about an organization of Geass users at Charles's command he was starting to get a very unpleasant suspicion. If such an organization exists it might explain how his geass activated at such a time to give Euphemia the command to kill all Japanese.
'I wouldn't be surprised if Charles set Euphemia up.' Lelouch just frowned. 'Even if he didn't Charles couldn't afford for the Special Administration Zone to succeed. It would have set a precedent he couldn't allow to exist. I have to talk to this friend of C.C.'s.'
Lelouch turned his thoughts to the announcement and demands that Celestial Being had made to the world. Like Milly had said about Celestial Being's existence being a contradiction had been accurate. From what he had seen this privately armed organization had the technology and power to defeat Britannia.
'Of what Celestial Being had shown us so far.' Lelouch just smirked. 'That announcement also had a psychological blow to Britannians everywhere with their demands.'
Lelouch knew without a doubt the coming times will be interesting indeed especially with Celestial Being in the mix. The former prince just wished he could have been a fly on the wall in the royal court. Their reactions from Celestial Being's demands would have been amusing to see.
