Naruto, of course, was pleased to be home, even if it meant he couldn’t see his new friends again. The young ninja could hardly wait to show off the new tricks he’d gained on their impromptu adventure.
Neither of the shinobi had expected that rift to carry them to a world of swords and sorcery, where the traditions of magic had been preserved for thousands of years after the rise of technology. It had been on this world, this… Jaden-Realm, that they had met a group that, had they not had prior experience with non-humans, would have floored them. Cat people! Police cat people, even! Werecats, as they had corrected Naruto in that first meeting.
Meeting the ‘Northern Edge-Guard’ had just been the beginning of that fantastic journey. After a few months of traveling Jade, the pair were introduced to some friends from Earth. The real fun started after the introduction to the Diggers family. After Jiraiya learned not to giggle perversely around them, anyway- that flaming skull spooked even his battle-hardened self!
But meeting the Diggers had been the opportunity of a lifetime. Traveling the world, the stars, and realms in between!
It was on one of these adventures that Naruto gained:
