Everyone's eyes immediately went to Akane.
"ME?! I don't know anything about it!" Akane declaimed.
Shampoo, Ukyo, and Kodachi were quite obviously skeptical.
"Actually she's telling the truth, much as she fails to notice that P-chan is actually Ryouga, or that Ranma is actually too nieve and ignorant about sex to be a pervert, she tends to shy away from truths that she can't handle," explained Nabiki.
"Huh? What was that about P-chan?" Akane blinked a couple of times.
"So Violent Pervert Girl kill Airen?" Shampoo frowned. "You cans prove this?"
"I have pictures, Akane did it with her silver mallet. Bang bang on Ranma's head." Nabiki said, spreading pictures out. "With all apologies to John Lennon."
The ghost of John Lennon nodded from the doorway before ambling off.
"I don't think I've seen that crossover before," commented Kodachi before turning back to the photos. "Nice work."
"Nikon 35mm," began Nabiki, following with film type and shutter exposure speed and other cameraphile esoterica.
"If he's dead, where's the body?" Ukyo asked, suspicious. The thought had occurred to her that this might just be an elaborate scheme of Nabiki's.
"Ranma, you're not dead. I don't know why they insist," said Akane, speaking to an empty corner of the dojo. "Baka! You're just trying to get attention, aren't you?! What's that? You say you love my cooking? Well, it's about time you admitted I'm a good cook!"
"Okayyyy, Shampoo is seriously creeped out," said the Amazon, putting away her weapons. Not much point of beating Akane into a bloody pulp right now. Would Akane even notice?
"These show blood being spattered, and Ranma being batted towards the heavens, but no pictures of a dead Ranma," said Ukyo, even more suspicious that something wasn't being said.
