"Yes," said the Hokage.
Shiro Emiya considered the pluses and the minuses. "Done."
"Do you have any skills that might be of use here?" asked one of the Councillors.
Shiro considered the old one-eyed ninja, then just shrugged slightly before answering. "I was summoned without a class as far as I can tell. I can serve as either Archer or Saber fairly well. I'm at least adequate as Caster, Lancer, or Assassin. I'm not really suited for either Berserker or Rider."
"Ridiculous," said the one-eyed bandaged man.
"Not so ridiculous, all three members of this team are skilled with swords," said Hayate Gekko, stirring himself for this. "It's not unusual for teams to have specialized skill sets."
"Oh, and what kind of missions would such be given?" asked the one-eyed elder.
"Enough, Danzo. I have several missions already selected that this team would be perfect for," said the Hokage. "If that was your only objection?"
"Well, of course, if the Hokage commands," said Danzo. "I suppose we'll see how well they work."
"So, anyway, there's a bandit camp over there," said Yugao, their acting sensei for the time being.
Shiro took a deep breath and took a peculiar stance, the reason for which became obvious as a large bow shimmered into existence in one hand.
"I am the bone of my sword," began Shiro.
"The bandit camp near Okosu is no longer there, Danzo-sama."
Danzo Shimura frowned slightly. "So they are at least competent enough to have slain a group of entrenched bandits?"
"No, Danzo-sama. The camp is no longer there. There is instead a smouldering crater where the camp used to be."
"One of them has a jutsu that powerful?" asked Danzo, his visible eye narrowed. "Sarutobi, what sort of game are you playing at?"
"So, what's next?" asked Shiro.
"Babysitting," said Yugao.
"You've got to be kidding me," said Shiro.
"No, it's fairly typical for a D-Rank mission," said Yugao. "You have to get a share of those too."
