Over here in Snow Country, a red flower was now blue. Over in Cloud, a genin had severe allergies. In Sound, a kunoichi had a life-changing experience that qualified as Dark. In Wave Country, a little dog dreamed of becoming a faithful ninja companion.
In the past, Jiraiya came back to his failed novel after the success of his first two Icha Icha novels, and while watching the cartoon shorts before a movie - had an idea.
Two seats down, a ratel looked up from his bag of popcorn and wondered where the heck he was and where the veldt had gone. Then he shrugged, because honey badger don't care. He decided he liked the popcorn though.
Naruto scowled at the thought of Sasuke trying to kill him. That irked him no end. He opened his mouth, momentarily forgetting exactly what was going on.
"I wish I was strong enough that Sasuke couldn't do that."
"Okay."
Naruto's mouth closed, his eyes widened, and he experienced a strong moment of regret. How would THAT be misinterpreted.
"Done," said the cat-shaped being.
"What's 'done'?" asked Naruto, looking over his body to see what horrible thing might have happened.
"The major thing that Sasuke Uchiha respects is strength," said Toltiir. "That was true of the male Sasuke, and it will be true of the female Sasuke. Your first wish, if you recall, uprated your abilities significantly. Your second wish caused Sasuke Uchiha to seek out and claim the power of the Slayer, so that he wouldn't be such a bastard. Now your third and final wish has been granted. Good luck, Naruto Uzumaki. You will need it."
"What?" asked Naruto as the kitty faded away.
But the cat was gone, leaving Naruto the impression it was snickering at him from wherever he'd vanished to.
This also left Naruto wondering how that third wish had been granted as it was not immediately obvious that:
