Claudius looked over the new base with a bit of pride. He had to destroy the ruins on top, as they were totally useless now, and gave away the location as to where they were staying. However, besides being over-run with a bit of ice, the lower tunnels and hallways were still in good condition.
Still, what impressed Claudius the most was how he was able to gain strength, the likes of which he obliterated what was left of the ruins in the snow. Having been imprisoned in the dark for so long as his punishment by the Kitsune Elder Mamori, Claudius had unlocked new aspects of his power. After all, it was his element, having studied the Shadow Elves for so long.
In effect, that was what made Claudius really take interest in these fortress ruins of the Negaverse. They were the opposite of the Earth Realm. For then day was night and night was day. And in this realm, where spirits had no founding, Claudius found Sanctuary in this place. For you see, like Jade, the Earth Realm had no protection for spirits, and so Claudius would not be able to walk around without some heavy form of magical protection or at least inside of a host body. This fortress, while no longer manned, still had remanents of dark energies. Energies that Claudius could use to maintain his form in the Earth Realm.
Sitting on the throne he made for himself, Claudius watched as recently-turned-Lycanthrope Jadeite walked up to him. The Dark General had made better use of the shards of the late Queen Beryl's Crystal Ball. He had used a few more of the shards to enhance his black general's outfit, giving it the consistency of Mythril armor, without the weight. And he has used a few more shards to enhance his Negaverse powers.
"Claudius, if I may ask a question." Jadeite said as he stood at attention before Claudius's throne.
Claudius waved his hand. "Proceed."
"Well, with all do respect, sir," Jadeite began. "It's just you and me here. What will we do for soldiers?"
"Simple..." Claudius said. "Now that you are back to the epak of yoru strength, I want you to go into Juuban and Nerima. I want you to lkook for people that could be described as 'evil' or 'vengeful' or even 'petty'. You will offer them power. If they accept you will then bring them to me and I will make them into Lycanthrope."
Jadeite nodded his head. "That's sounds good enough. But what if they ask me how I intend to give them power?"
It was then Claudius began to seemingly smile. "Simple. The Truth. With all the coverage Lycanthrope are getting, it might very well be for the best. People would come in droves to get the skill they need."
Jadeite smiled. Humans were so easy to trick. "Very well. Consider it done, Claudius!"
Claudius nodded his head as he watched as Jadeite went off. Humans WERE so easy to trick. Even if they were now Lycanthrope, they still had some of their flawed huamn thinking.
"... Girl, you need to lay off that human caffeine..."
