This thing was a pervert. Not a pervert in the sexual sense, but a perversion of nature itself.
She was, when all was said and done, quite capable of taking on the average schoolyard bully, dojo destroyer, underage Chinese Amazon twins, or a number of other opponents.
Somewhere in her mind, a dice rolled and came up with "5" as her Save Vs Wisdom where she had to roll under an "8".
Fleeing screaming towards the horizon was good.
Fleeing while remaining as silent as was humanly possible - better.
Akane left a little dust trail as if Kuno had just cloned himself and there was a small army of him on her tail.
The balrog didn't pay much attention, looking for something to prey upon that wasn't quite that fast.
