"Oh, damn is this borning." Ranma thought. He wanted out of the regenerative tube, and he wanted out now!
A thought then hit Ranma. "Why not?" So pulling his fist back with the little room he had, Ranma punched forward onto the tube.
Nothing. Well, maybe Ranma's hand felt sore now, but that was it. There was a somewhat muted 'thud' sound as he hit the glass-like tube, but otherwise, the tube itself was fine. Ranma couldn't get much friction in the goop to really move around. Ranma thought to use a ki blast, but the energy might just heat this goop up, and he might end up accidentally boil himself alive. "So all I can really do it wait for someone to let me out..." Ranma thought. He seriously hoped he was in good company.
Ten more minutes passed, and Ranma was forced to float there. Suddenly, the door at one end of the room opened. Ranma pressed his head against the tube to see who it was.
The woman was interesting to Ranma. She was tall, and cheetah-like in her appearance. Ranma recognized her immediately. "Hey! She's the one that helped me fight, and the one I took that strike for!" Ranma thought.
Ranma watched as the woman walked up to the tube he was in. It surprised him somewhat how even though she had VERY cat-like characteristics in looks, it didn't bother him. He then saw her moth move. He could barely hear her as she spoked, but Ranma was still able to listen to what what she asked him. "Would you like me to let you out?"
Seeing the Japanese guy nod his head rapidly, Britanny walked over to one of the larger consoles in teh room and started pressing some buttons. Ranma noticed as suddenly, the gelatinous green goop drains through the bottom of the tube, letting Ranma's feet touch the floor. As soon as the majority of the goop in the tube is gone, it's filled up with warm water, and it empties into the drain on the floor yet again, taking the rest of the goop with it. The top part of the tube opens a but and the tube suddenly lowers forms into the floor. Ranma then steps out of the circular groove in the floor he was standing on, and shakes his head, getting the excess water out of it. Britanny then tossed Ranma a towel, which he caught with his hand.
"Thanks." Ranma said, in English. He had heard it enough times and learned quite a bit in his travels with his father. Genma had always said that learning Japanese would be a useful tool. Mostly so he could hurl insults that people would have an easier time understanding and getting insulted by.
Britanny watched as Ranma was drying himself and she couldn't help but blush. He was much shorter than her, but for a human, he was decently built. He reminded her of Stryyp for some reason and it gave her the same good feeling watching Ranma as it did when she watched Stryyp. Deciding to stop that line of thought, Britanny tried to make conversation. "You're welcome. My Name is Britanny. Britanny Elin Diggers; though my friends call me 'Cheetah'. What's your name?"
Ranma looked at Britanny. "Ranma. Ranma Saotome. Did you bring me here? And speaking of here, where is here?"
Britanny blinked. "Yes. My sisters and I brought you here to my sister Gina's lab so you could be healed in one of the Rejuvination Tubes. Those Protein Nanites are excellent for healing major wounds like the one you took."
Ranma snorted. "It was nothing."
Britanny blinked. "Nothing? The blade grazed your heart and cut through your right lung! You were in critical condition when we brought you here."
Ranma blinked. Not wanting to think about getting hsi ass kicked, he decided to change the topic. "Still, where are we, Britanny?"
Britanny blinked. "We brought you to our home in Atlanta, Georgia. We're in the United States."
"America!?" Ranma asked in slight shock. "How long was I out, that you got me from Saudi Arabia to America?"
"You were unconscious for a good part of the day." Britanny said. "We used a Light Gate and we got you here in three minutes, and then we've been coming in occasionally to check up to see how you were doing."
"Well, thank you. I guess we're even now." Ranma said. "I mean, I saved you, and you and your sisters saved me."
"Yeah." Britanny said. She was trying to avert her eyes. Ranma was only in his boxers, and they were clinging to him like a second skin, leaving very little to the imagination.
Ranma was wondering why Britanny was blushing, but decided that it probably wasn't importany. "Listen, if it's not too much, could you and yoru sisters get me back to Saudi Arabia?"
"Oh?" Britanny asked. "Why's that?"
Ranma thought about it for a moment. Realizing that Britanny and probably her sisters weren't against him, Ranma told her the truth. "I'm on a quest."
"A quest?" Britanny asked.
"Yeah. A cursed object turned my friends and my mother into solid-stone statues." Ranma explained.
"THAT"S AWFUL!" Britanny said. She knew what it was like to lose her mother, knowing her mother Julia had been cursed for most of Britanny's childhood. "You were looking for a way to turn your mother and friends back?"
"Yeah, sorta." Ranma said. "I went there looking for a Seer that was supposed to be able to help me. She told me that I would be able to get help from a woman who is a daughter of the Armaster and an Aura Mage." Ranma then noticed how Britanny seemed starled. "Uh, is somethign wrong, Britanny?"
Britanny fidgeted for a bit. She placed a hand on the back of her head and scratched her neck. "Well, Ranma... You're looking at one of them."
"HUH?" Ranma asked. "You're the one I'm looking for?"
"Maybe, I'm not sure." Britanny said. "My father is Theodore Diggers, an Aura Mage of the Conclave, and my mother is the Armsmaster."
Ranma smiled, he finally found a daughter of the Armsmaster and mage. "Really? Then how is it you're not sure you're the one?"
"Well," Britanny began to explain, "I am *A* daughter of the Arsmaster and an aura Mage. I have TWO other sisters."
Ranma blinked. "Oh... So, I have a choice?"
"Maybe." Britanny said. "I'm not sure."
"Hmmm... Maybe you could introduce me to them."
"Sure." Britanny said. "But first, I think we should get you some clothing. Otherwise, I don't think my sister Bri will be able to keep her hands off you." Mentally, she added, "Hell. I'm having trouble keeping my hands off you."
Ranma looked down and remembered he was only wearing his boxers. He blushed. "Er, right! Let's get some clothing."
"I am NOT a troll, dammit!"
