Ranma grunted with concentration as he raised himself off the ground in a handstand before flipping himself upright. Taking a moment to catch his breath, he eyed his current adversary with a slight smirk.
"I almost got you there - getting slow?"
His opponent shook her head.
"Tired?"
Tomato again shook her head, and her expression broke into a sly smile. She relaxed before sauntering over toward Ranma with exaggerated hip movements.
"How about you, lover-boy? Aren't you tired... after (her voice dropped to a husky whisper as she stood close enough for her breath to caress his cheek) last night?"
Ranma's face turned a deep red as he blushed, and Tomato took the opportunity to throw him against the wall of the ship's (highly reinforced) training room.
"Gotcha!"
Ranma lay dazed for a moment, then sputtered back to life...
"Hey! That was cheap! You - mmmmph!"
... and was interrupted by Tomato in a predictable fashion. You'd think that after a month, he fall for this a little less often... but then he wouldn't be Ranma, now, would he.
Still, before coherent thought left him, Ranma thought this wasn't all that bad, really. Strong opponents (who were also cute girls), constant fighting (and eating), no little traps, schemes, or doomed plans... he hadn't had this much fun (no, not THAT kind of fun... although he got plenty of that, too...) in, well, forever.
