Invasion Earth: For want of a horse, the message was lost- [Episode 26296]

by Kestral

The Gateway exploded in energy as forms quickly emerged.

Akane gasped at the televised images.

Tentacled demonic beings splatted as martial artists unleashed chi attacks. Strange floating mecha were pulverized by Senshi attacks. Odd warriors and odder war machines were targetted by .50 cal machine gun fire.

The first rank of the enemy fell, replaced by a second rank, then a third rank.

"Ranma, I... Ranma? RANMA?!" Akane looked everywhere. Where had Ranma gone? He was just here a minute ago! It was just a silly movie right? It couldn't be real.

Ryouga Hibiki had his faults to be sure.

Televised now internationally, his looks and toned form as he stood against hordes of beings from Elsewhere - nobody could see those faults. Instead, he was causing schoolgirls to swoon. Some Amazon-supplied waterproof soap applied just prior to combat kept him from becoming P-chan as some water-based attacks went past him.

Mousse as well had admirers out of this. The two of them helping to hold back the monsters attempting to pour through the Gate was actually quite stirring.

A wave of magic passed over them, activating their curses anyway. Neither lasted long after that.

One by one, the defenders began falling. Some were killed. Others were captured and taken away.

The cameras were quickly abandoned and the feeds lost.

After briefly showing the "Technical Difficulties" sign, a picture from a distance showed that some sort of tower was being built at the site.

The Splugorth had arrived.
