Also, she was still a bit dizzy and had a lingering taste of pink and could still smell a bit of loud.
She knew what that meant, oddly enough. She'd never been through anything like that before, but during the uncontrolled tumble through all that - and seeing one of her arms go sailing off during the trip - she'd come to the conclusion that her senses or mind were all trying to make sense of something that made absolutely no sense.
So she'd gone to one knee to steady herself while the world stopped trying to flip around underneath her. As things had slowly righted themselves - she'd remained down there to observe her enviroment and try to figure out her current situation.
Walls all around her, stone and looking thick. Lots of kids a few years older than her - no forehead protectors but they were all similarly dressed. Ninja of some other village maybe?
She HAD taken the kunoichi classes though, and infiltration was covered a bit more than the boys' end of things. Nobody looked really ready to start throwing shuriken her way. Everyone had wooden sticks in their hands - yawara or another pressure point based weapon? Looked flimsy.
Argument between the closest and youngest kid and the older guy. Genin arguing with a jonin-sensei maybe? Or...
Sakura's eyes flicked over the assembled students and the older guy and fitted it together with something she'd seen very recently. Students and teacher? An advanced class of some kind? They were a bit old for something like Konoha's Ninja Academy, well, except for the one that was approaching her.
Sakura looked over the girl approaching, who was making odd gestures with that stick and saying something in a tone that didn't sound friendly or particularly hostile for that matter. More like the lecturing sort of voice that Mizuki-sensei or Suzume-sensei sometimes used.
That she didn't recognize the language everyone was using was more concerning. Was this an after-effect of the senses-scrambling effect of them getting displaced by that seal, or was this an indication that she wasn't even in the Elemental Countries any longer?
This close, she could see that the pink hair color that so matched her own was natural. Could this be a distant relative then? The girl was saying something in that odd language again, hands coming up to grip Sakura's shoulders.
Sakura palmed the kunai. If this girl was preparing for some kind of attack, she was ready - though this other didn't LOOK like she had any sort of taijutsu training and getting this close certainly didn't-
Sakura's eyes bugged out slightly as the other girl KISSED her. As in on the lips. As in...
Then the girl stepped away again as Sakura tried to recover from the shock of the very weird event.
That one of her hands began burning as if she'd just dribbled acid or something on it indicated maybe it had been a jutsu after all. The fire spread like a poison, seeping within her though the hand stayed the worst of it.
"Might be a family member," mused Guiche.
"The Valliere family takes such pride in their social status that a non-magical member of the family would be swept off out of the way, not given an elaborate play in order to take their place in society," said Marie with a sniff.
"Allergies still bothering you?" asked Guiche. "No, I was thinking of an out-of-wedlock but magical member of the family. Since Louise can't cast spells, a ruse to make it appear she has a familiar with magical ability might be possible."
"I think you're reaching," said Kirche. "It's very unlikely. Particularly as the 'familiar' has just drawn a knife and tried to stab Louise."
"Actually, this reinforces my conclusion," said Guiche. "Not all families have particularly good relations."
The group watched the shrieking and running Louise and the staggering knife-wielding familiar until the familiar collapsed and began openly crying.
"Huh," said Guiche. "I'm not sure if this is a Valliere 'sport' or a commoner, but if this is an act - she's pretty good at it."
"Perhaps," said Kirche. "Well, Colbert-sensei just used a sleep spell. Perhaps later things will calm down and we'll find out. Still, there's no way she can tell me that THAT is the most elegant and beautiful familiar summoned here today."
Sasuke Uchiha noticed the two other members of his team fade out. He wasn't sure where he was - there was clearing smoke around him to cut his vision down.
He dropped to a crouch to minimize the dizziness and to draw a kunai. If he was dropped into a hostile environment, he could respond a second faster in such a way. He held the kunai in such a way that he could conceal it if he was NOT in a hostile environment.
After a moment, the smoke cleared and revealed he was:
