Mischief Fragment - Wishcraft: Sasuke [Episode 263163]

by Kestral

Sasuke was aware of the other two fading out as the world around him stabilized. He'd theorize what all this meant later, priority was on immediate survival.

A loud droning noise brought his attention to above him. A large tapered cylinder from the look of it. He was on a sort of scaffolding that ran around the thing and had ladders and railings.

Going to the nearest railing, he looked down. That was the ground. Way down there. Way way down there. He couldn't adequately determine how high up he was, since the highest he'd ever been had been a trip to the top of the Hokage monument. Still, he was pretty sure this was at least three or four times that height. Maybe five. Yeah, not falling was a good plan.

Sasuke stepped back away from the railing as he went over what he had seen. They were over water, which had extended as far as he could see. Which meant nowhere near the Elemental Countries. The loud droning noise were large sets of shuriken set to spinning. Or something shuriken-shaped since they obviously weren't being used AS shuriken.

He didn't know where he was other than on a vehicle that could fly at a pretty good height. No allies. No support. No way to report back to the village. No superiors. He was on his own.

No one to hold him back.

Sasuke fought down the thin smile that brought out. This would be a challenge. The first thing he needed was information. With information, he could then figure out how to get back. And if this odd situation provided him the ways and means to get stronger - then he would use that chance to the full.

Some odd garbly language was spoken and that young pink-haired girl seemed to be yelling at her.

"I don't understand you!" yelled back Sakura. "I don't know where I am! I don't know who you are! AND I HAVE A HEADACHE!"

Again the girl snarled and brandished her stick, making a gesture and saying some odd word.

Another explosion engulfed her.

Sakura felt something twist, but used the smoke to leap to the window and leave. No way was she going to stick around and have people throw explosions at her!

She landed in the courtyard, realizing only after coming to a jarring impact that she should have checked first. If she'd been higher than the second floor that could have been a problem.

Now was her chance to escape though, and as soon as she...

Sakura stared at the two moons in the sky.

Which was when Guiche kindly cast a Levitate spell on the girl to keep her from doing anything else suicidal. Honestly, everyone knew that sports or little "accidents" had a harsh life in the shadows. He could actually sympathize a bit. One of his cousins had done something similar. The child that had resulted had actually turned out to be a fine watercrafter and distinguished himself in the military as a medic. Even managed to die honorably, proving that the noble blood in him had overcome the common origins.

Who knew - this girl that Louise had might even make up for Louise's own lack of magical talent.

Naruto landed hard. Harder than he'd thought.

He'd actually blacked out on impact.

So when he regained consciousness, it was somewhat surprising to find that he was:
