"Well, then I guess… I mean I wish…" Sakura stammered out before trailing off, her mind returning to what Sasuke did to their teammate. Glancing over to the blond haired girl, Sakura still couldn’t believe the change in Naruto.
‘Naruko.’ She corrected herself with a slight twitch of an eye.
If she was thinking clearly, Sakura would have noted that there were actually very few differences in the boy turned girl. Her hair was slightly longer, down to shoulder length but still spikey as ever. Her face was slightly more feminine, that of a girl on her way into womanhood but holding a deep scowl directed at the cause of her change. Even the downward twist of Naruko’s lips made the girl look cute, which irked Sakura slightly for some reason.
Naruto had gained a few centimeters out of the change, putting her even with Sakura in height. The orange jacket and pants Naruto always wore stayed the same, though. They were already big on him before the change, now they fit her slightly better with her new height. Of course, because they were still slightly baggy, they hid whatever changes had happened to the blonde’s body underneath.
‘Wait a second…’ Sakura thought, blinking in realization as she glanced from the agitated Naruko to the smug Sasuke and back. ‘Top kunoichi of our…’
‘That son of a bitch!’ She screamed in her own head, jerking her eyes back to the black haired Uchiha. The boy who she fought tooth and nail to be the best for, to ace every exam for, to do her damnedest to gain his attention. ‘All those years to be the best and it’s all gone!’
Sasuke’s next words rolled through her head.
‘Hang in the background and be useless… Like Sakura.’
Teeth clenched, hands balled up in shaky fists, nails cutting into the flesh of her palms... Sakura had never felt more betrayed… more pissed off… more like punching that smug grin off that asshole’s face!
‘You think it’s so easy being a kunoichi, huh? Well, I wish you knew what it was like! Maybe then you’d think twice before saying something like that again!’ Sakura screamed out in her head towards the Uchiha scion.
“Hmm… That could be interesting. A chance to have a new top shinobi in class to fill the spot and maybe a different Jounin team leader.” There was a sensation of something tilting its head. “Or maybe a rare 'all Kunoichi' team. So many possibilities from that wish.”
“Wait, what?” Sakura jerked out of her thoughts, along with her teammates.
“I approve; wish granted.”
“Ahhrrg!” The black haired Uchiha let out his own strangled yelp as he clutched his stomach with both arms. Similarly to their blonde teammate, the male boy shifted into a girl version near instantly, with very similar results. The resulting Uchiha girl looked like a female version of Sasuke who was working into puberty… which was exactly what she was.
“As with Naruko, this will be retroactive; as if Sachiko was born a girl.”
“Sakura! What did you do!?” Sachiko yelled out in shock, her slightly higher pitched voice matching Naruko’s change.
“Ha! Karma’s a bitch, isn’t it, Teme?” Naruko crowed in vengeance, crossing her arms over her chest.
“Wait… I didn’t…” Sakura stammered in shock, disbelieving what was happening before her very eyes.
“Yes, you did. It was heartfelt and valid, even if you didn’t say it outloud. Besides, the whole ‘Naruko and Sasuke’ thing has been done one too many times.”
“Wait! Me and Sasuke?!” Naruko cried out in disbelief, jabbing a finger at the equally disgusted and now female Uchiha.
“Maybe, maybe not... It could still happen, but there’s still your wish to attend to yet. And remember, there are no ‘Take backs’.”
