Mischief Fragment - Wishcraft: A wish for Parents [Episode 263346]

by Konsaki

Naruko tapped her pursed lips with a finger, lost in thought for a few moments. “Hey, Wishbringer-guy… Just making sure but I can wish for anything, right?”

“So long as it increases your survival; though, one that brings some interesting changes doesn’t hurt.”

Giving a nod at that, she made her decision as the timer above her head continued to tick down. “Okay, then how about this? I wish me and Sasuke’s parents were still alive.” Naruko left out Sakura, since she still had her Mom and Dad.

Hearing that, Sachiko blinked in surprise at the blond kunoichi.

“Hmm… I can understand your parents, but what is your reasoning for the Uchiha’s?”

Folding her arms across her chest, Naruko smirked. “I figured that if he still had his Mom and Dad, he wouldn’t be such an emo dick all the time.”

The raven haired Uchiha girl felt her teeth grinding together as she fought to stay silent. She was almost about to thank the dube but that thought had been thoroughly gutted and lit on fire.

“That would improve your cooperation and teamwork.” The cosmic voice allowed with a mental shrug. “That wish is denied, though.”

“What!? Why!?” Naruko complained loudly.

“Because many reasons, which I’m not going to go into. I will settle on a compromise, though. Your mother and father and his, that’s four to choose from; you can choose two of them.”

“Why not all four?” The blonde girl questioned petulantly.

“Because I said so; take it or leave it. Just remember, if that timer hits zero you’re getting a new fiancé as a penalty for wasting time.”
