Ami answered the doorbell and found herself looking up, really high up, into the face of a werelion.
"Oh dear," Ami said. "I thought Dr. Diggers stopped the infectious part of our conditions. Usagi must have had another accident."
"Excuse me?" the werelion asked. "No, I was born this way."
"Oh, I see," Ami said. "You must be friend's of the Diggers' then."
"Yes," Onoli said. "Some of my team are vacationing here, and I was looking for them. I smelled...well...soul burn and..."
"There was a monster made of silver," a new voice said. "One of the weres that showed up decided to try and punch it repeatedly."
The werelion turned about to see a slender, elegant woman with red hair streaked with green stripes. She was obviously a were-tigress, though why she had green stripes instead of black was beyond him. She had a quiet, contained sort of regal presence that was far different from the usual loud and boisterousness of most were-tigers he had associated with. Granted, Tirga was extreme, but most tigers tended to be a little like him.
"I am Setsuna Meioh," she said. "Introducing herself. Does your presence have anything to do with a creature known as a nogitsune?"
"Yes, an escaped criminal," he said. Setsuna nodded. "How did you know that?"
"Simple deduction. We should discuss matters," Setsuna said. She hadn't actually known this man was coming though. It was a blindside that Setsuna wasn't quite aware of that the Time Gates often failed to show some events within her life, unless those events impacted on the overall event she was viewing. "Ami, would you mind if we have any tea?"
