The Great Will quickly took Ranmas wish apart and analysed it.
Fact 1:He had wished to aquire nine new fiancees.
Fact 2:Said fiancees had to be similar to the Senshi in character and abilities.
Fact 3:New fiancees had to serve as guards for Ranma as that was an intrinsick aspect of the Senshi.
Fact 4:The new fiancees should match Ranmas subconcious ideal of betrotheds. They should love him, not constantly fight with one another, be supportive and loyal but not mindless sex puppets or slaves.
Once these peramitters were established it went on to analyse the Senshi them selves and find which characteristics it should carry over.
1: The Senshi were a team.
2: They were the elite guard (and in some situations, harem) to a specific individual. This individual was normally of the line of Serenity.
3: All the Senshi were atractive and gifted in their own way and field.
4: All of them possessd great power along with the potential for a great deal more.
These facts assimilated the Great Will set about altering time and space so that nine attractive female individuals of great power and talent would now be Ranmas personal Senshi guard and fiancees.
A few days ago Ranma had been in his female form and in a very depressed state after a VERY bad fight with Akane when he was kidnapped by a dimension hopping evil dark power (ie, on level with Wiseman, Metallia or Pharaoh 90. In other words out of his league.). It seemed that the Power had been snatching powerful girls from various universes when they had been in a depressed state about their romantic lives.
Upon their capture the Powers machines used the temporary weakness of the girls emotional state to brainwash the into being little more than devoted slaves for tha Power. This would have been Ranmas fate but for the fact that part of the early brainwashing treatment was to stick the females in large tubes of warm water to saturate their senses.
With his return to his true gender(as at that point he had not recieved the Great Will and so still had his curse) Ranma had busted out and gone on to free the other captives.
It turned out that they were all in the far future, about two thousand years. Some chick called 'Neo-Queen Serenity'had built a paradise utopia that had led mankind to becoming soft in their peace. After a couple hundred years the only people left who could fight were the Queens Senshi, so when they fell before the Power the rest of the world had been easy pickings.
Ranma had freed the captured Neo-Serenity only to find that the Power had been using her as its personal battery for nearly a century leaving her a shrivelled ruin of herself. Sensing Ranmas kind heart she had used the last of her strength to adopt him into the Serenity line so she could pass on the Silver Crystal to him so he could fight the Power.
Not feeling himself suitable to wield the Crystal Ranma had passed it on to one of the other girls he'd freed before leading the charge against The Power. During the pitched battle that arose the girl had managed to activate the Crystal, with very unexpected results.
The Silver Crystal functioned similarilly to a computer, but years of its weilder being contaminated with dark energy had led the program to becoming a bit on the corrupted side. When it became active it found it had a new wielder who was working for its true master, a member of the Serenity line.
Going with what little of its program was left the Crystal had set about recruiting Senshi for its new master from the girl that were his allies. Unfotunatly its rather aggressive recruitment style compounded with the girls incomplete brainwashing and the fact they all found Ranma attractive on at least a subconciuos level led to all of them falling maddly in love with him as well as developing a need/desire to serve and guard him.
After the Power had been beaten, something that had NOT been easy even though superior numbers triumphed in the end, the Neo Senshi had used the dreaded puppy dog eyes attack to convince Ranma to let them come with him.
So it was that Ranma found himself with nine gorgeous young women, all of whom loved him and who had all manage, through one means or anoter, to get engaged to him.
And rught now they were not happy with the Outers. Not one bit.
