Shinji stepped through the rows of shelves, searching for something that would not get him into Trouble. Although pretty crazy, there was still the tiny chance that the man was really a wizard and he really didn't want to risk getting caught in some kind of horrible Situation because he bought something like a sentient magical book or some kind of item that would screw him over.
So instead he searched for anything that looked pretty normal and modern. He was a bit surprised just how much of the things suited that description.
There was a small row with remote controls. They were described as general remote control and that you could control all change the pesky things around you instead of having to buy a new one for everything. Pretty useful he thought, it was worthy of consideration.
Next was a small group of cameras. Small one's, big one's, digital and old fashioned looking types. If he trusted the text bellow the row, they were perfect for capturing others and getting different views on them.
Left of them, he found a number of mobile phones, Ipods and Ipads. Well, he did want to get one and his friends had been talking about how useful they were. And you could apparently download new apps into them for pretty much any situation if the description was right.
Next there was a DVD player that stood there lonely. To show you the life in any movie. Though Shinji didn't know the label of the producer.
He also discovered of old looking Game Boy advance and even a Game Boy colour. There were even games that you would get for free if you bought one of the consoles. He didn't think anyone in school had one and the things were really rare these days.
Oh, there were also a number of digital wrist-watches. They did look stylish and he sometimes had problems not being late. It had even a stopwatch function and a number other useful tricks like measuring time gone by and stuff.
Oh, there were a few very good headphones. His old one's did start to scratch on his ears somewhat and the text bellow advertised great quality and the ability to change the atmosphere of the surrounding through the music played. There were also loudspeakers for when others wanted to listen too.
There was also a row with toys for little. A small pink bow with fake arrows that looked decidedly not dangerous, action figures and dolls that could be clothed differently and plasticine for making all kind of forms, though the latter could also work as an art supply.
On his next steps there were.... Shinji blushed as he looked at a number of magazines with women in very much compromising positions. No, he didn't need anything like that. If Asuka saw him with something like that or discovered them in his room, she would kill him very painfully.
Still, that last one did make him believe that maybe this was just an guy that rarely got customer and had become desperate.
Well, he would have to take something to get out anyway. He would just snatch...
