"Hmm. Okay," Xellos sumarized. "Lina has been involved with that thankfully destroyed Shadow Reflector. There is a statue of her at Mipross that I can't figure out how it could be there."
"How can that be?"
Xellos calmly explained, "We keep track of humans who have prolonged their lives through magic, in case they might be useful. The encounter with that, ugh, Shadow Lina didn't reveal any information about having a long life. I wasn't asking, but I think that something would have slipped."
Fillia rubbed the sides of her head a bit. "My ears are still ringing from those ten lauging Naga clones and those two people Naga trained to laugh like her"
Xellos shook his head as the pair walked on. "I'm not sure what to make of her."
"There is something that's been bothering me. After I saw that other Lina, I thought I recongnized her, but her outfit wasn't right."
Xellos hummed a bit and nodded. "I did as well. I've had visions of travelling with a group of humans, but I never recalled meeting any of them."
"One wasn't realy human, he had stone skin," Fillia idly stated.
Xellos started. "You're right. I think we both have images of these people. Let's stop in that tavern and try to come up with some drawings of what these others look like. Maybe it'll spark some more information."
The two went inot a tavern and sat dowm. Xellos pulled out a pad of paper and handed it to Fillia.
"We'll skip Lina, since we know waht she looks like. Let's start with the one with stone skin."
Fillia nodded and tried drawing the face she saw in her memories with Xellos tossing in his comments. Before they had finished the picture, a large contigent of Brass Demons bust into the tavern.
