What could a stupid book really do, it was all just a joke for either stupid or horny kids right? Looking over the ‘summon angelic servant’ spell as it was the easiest to perform, Shinji almost felt like smacking himself.
“Summon an Angel right, with my luck it WILL be an angel and I’ll die fighting it,” he chuckled as he began drawing the symbols the book stated to draw. A large circle of pure white was the first thing. With no chalk to use, Shinji opted to use flour and thought about the mess he was making just to prove something fake. OH well at least he’d get a little laugh at his own expense.
“Next it says…” he fumbled with the page as he read. “Oh I need some blood?” what type of angel would he be summoning with blood. At least it was only one drop. “A drop of blood to bind her to my will forever.” Well if it did work he hoped the angel would be nice as a pissed off angel stuck with him for the rest of his life would sure make things really bad.
Finishing off the symbols at the edge of the circle with his fingers, it was easier than trying to pour it out in the archaic symbols straight from the bag Shinji took a deep breath. Why was his heart beating so fast, this had to all be a joke, a silly little book. Surely it was some kid that bought it and then dropped it ashamed to take it home, yet here HE was with a ring of flour on his kitchen flour, Pen Pen looking on from his refrigerator, thinking about spilling his blood into the circle.
“Hell I went this far might as well prove I’m as big a pervert as Asuka keeps saying I am,” setting the book down at his feet, stepping in the edge to keep it from falling back closed, Shinji took a deep breath. The pages said to say the enchanted words and spill is blood in the center of the circle. “I summon thee forth from the eternal winds of space and time to be bound to my command. To live, to love, to be with me until time ends and the worlds split upon the anvil of time!” Taking his sharpest knife, used up until today to cut his vegetables for the evening repast, he cut his thumb and squeezed the wound.
The blood didn’t immediately fall but hung on his finger for several moments contemplating if it wanted the fate in store for it. Bulging and growing on his finger tip, Shinji was about to pull his finger back having assuming it’d fallen already and he truly was an idiot but then it dropped. The perfect circle of blood made a faint ‘plick’ sound as it settled into the floor that was Shinji’s kitchen. Standing back as nothing happened, Shinji laughed at himself. “I knew this was a joke, this proves it.”
But the feeling of sadness settled in, it would have been nice to have somebody with him forever. His life was pretty lonely and who better to brighten it up than an angel! Sure the book said ‘sex angel’ but how could an angel really be such? Bending down to start cleaning up his mess, the circle of blood, that perfect circle of red expanded outward. It pushed all the way from the center of the ward to the rim of white, the red turning a soft warming pink. Light bellowed out from the ground, it warmed Shinji just to look at it. “What the hell?” he got out as a figure slowly ascended from the light into his kitchen.
The blinding yet soothing light receded and their standing before Shinji was a woman of such beauty that he couldn’t speak. He was in awe of her, but she didn’t have the typical angelic look that he had anticipated. She did not have soft white wings of such softness as to think they were fake, and she wasn’t garbed in the white linen robes of the Greek’s.
“Who is it that summoned me?” She asked looking down at Shinji with a playful eye.
