Like all powerful books created by powerful mages, the Hentainomicon had certain twists to it, twists that ensured that the book would fulfill its purpose and that potential enemies of the book's creator were unable to use it. Also, they ensured that the if the book was in the hands of a person that it's creator would have approved of it would work like a charm and it would allow said user to get what it really wanted out it, even if he himself didn't know he wanted it.
When Shinji held it in his hands and decided that he wanted to try a spell to see if the book worked or not, the Hentainomicon came up with the perfect candidate, even if the spell in itself was anything but simple in normal circumstances, there was an element in Shinji that simplified it greatly and that meant that it could be presented as a simple spell to the young new master.
While Shinji didn't know what LCL was, or the fact that simply washing up didn't get rid of the stuff that soaked in the rest of his body, the book did. LCL was Lilith's blood, the blood of the second "Angel" as the humans called it, and it contained a lot of power, enough for what was needed, and since the spell's initial target was the spell caster himself, the Hentainomicon could be sure that Shinji would have no doubts created by the fear of hurting someone else.
Shinji read the instructions for the Fulfillment of Self spell, thinking that the spell was some sort of magical substitute for jacking off. Obviously he was dead wrong, since that Hentainomicon didn't deal with that kind of low effect crap for its master. The effect of the spell were far more complex, the spell's effects were in fact so complex that the books creator hadn't been able to complete it and the book had completed it itself during the eons it existed.
The spell was designed to solve a problem that troubled the original master in his later years, despite the fact that he had plenty of sex slaves and sex toys and could solve a problem that Shinji had ever since his mother died and he had been abandoned by his father. Loneliness, the absence of someone who can truly understand you, that loves you without being forced or under a permanent spell (even if some manipulation was needed to get things started). The spell would find a soul-mate for the caster, the perfect equal, an eternal partner.
Still, since it was created by a powerful perverted mage, the result was not quite that simple, the spell was also meant to make the caster and said soul-mate immortal and bind them together for all eternity while also giving them perverse powers of some sort (mostly centered around shape-shifting, but things could be better thanks to Lilith's blood that would allow the two to grow S2 organs). It was kind of like marriage, but with a lot less rules and no worries about getting cheated on as the couple would most likely have more than enough perverse ideas that could involve others and be shared.
Shinji would be pleased with the end result and the Hentainomicon would get not one but two permanent stable masters that would most likely ensure that it would be used. Plus, the kid had a lot of potential and this was just the kind of thing he needed to tap into it and maybe let it loose later.
The young Ikari had no idea what he was getting into as he started the spell. He thought that it was easy since it mostly involved reciting a long text from the book while focusing on images of girls he liked.
