Ranma had gone as, uhm, Tuxedo Ranma. He'd come up with a sort of James Bond angle to begin with. Besides, he wanted to prove he could look as good as Mamoru in one and this had been the first excuse he'd had.
This was before Nehelenia had sunk a really massive amount of power in the spell she'd hoped would leave the Senshi helpless and unable to fight back. It had been a desperate gamble. "No more fakes" as a story once stated.
Not the best of plans.
