The world would never be the same.

Reeality shifted back into focus for Ravenhair; she blinked for a moment, then looked around.
This VR system was out of this world! The detail was almost impossibly realistic; for a split second, she feared what would happen if humanity caught up to its ideal computer, then willed it away. She could definitely enjoy it in here...
After a second, she blinked, and spoke a single word. The thought was hers, but the voice... well, she took her voice (and some other things) from her older sister.
“Light,” she whispered; a ball of pure luminescence formed in her hands. She almost squealed in delight until she remembered: she was supposed to stay in character.
“Ah... how nice,” she whispered. Strangely enough, saying the words just as Bell would have done made her feel so... peaceful inside.
Yes... it was definitely time to find her friends. She blinked a summons to the other three to see if they were already online.

Hellsdaughter smiled maliciously as she entered The Game.
Yes... here, she was going to make her boss proud. Thanks to her own system (the best Intel and Microsoft could produce), she had a few... tricks up her sleeve. At the moment, she was a drow assassin, but that could change quickly.
A true assassin, after all, didn’t get caught. That was what the ‘copy form’ command she had set up could help her with. Anyone she ran into could be stored on her computer with a touch; she’d ‘borrow’ their form, do a little P-killing, and watch the fireworks of recriminations commence.
Anger and hatred spreads like a wildfire under the right conditions. In The World, she could make ‘murderers’ out of anyone. And here was a field of murderers ripe for the making...

Ten no Ryuu sneered softly as she felt Ravenhair’s ping; this would be a most entertaining evening...
She wasn’t sure what to make of Ravenhair. They were... rivals, true... but they were also the only ones who understood each other. They knew what technology was for - to push the future for its own sake.
As for the others... Wired knew when to keep his/her mouth shut, and Hellsdaughter didn’t.
As for her form... well, ‘his’ form would probably be more appropriate. She wanted to get closer to Kamui; what better way to do it than to become Kamui? Sure, there were a few cosmetic differences - the clothing, while still basic black, was designed for a more ancient time - but it was still Kamui. Her reasoning was simple: by living as him for awhile, she would soon come to understand him better.
Smiling, ‘he’ looked at his hand, and flexed it experimentally. Oh, this was going to be fun...

Wired walked up the the gathering they’d prepared, a gentle smile on her face. She was the pure mage of the group; Ravenhair, the cleric, Hellsdaughter, the assassin/thief, and Ryuu, the warrior, though ‘he’ certainly didn’t look the part.
“Hello,” she spoke, and extended her hand to the others. “I’m Wired. It’s nice to meet you all...”
The others all extended their hands at the same time.
“Hi. I’m Ryuu.”
“Oh, hello, Wired! I’m Ravenhair!”
“Greetings”, came a soft purr. “They call me... Hellsdaughter.”

Four virtual hands touched each other in greeting. Four computer systems not designed for this earth met each other, and intertwined. Heaven and Hell, Order and Chaos all met at one point.
In her seat watching over Yggdrasil, Peorth screamed. In another realm, her demonic counterpart wondered what he could have done to piss the Big Guy off. Unwitnessed by their owners, the Beast and the Wired began to glow.
From each of the computers, both divine and otherwise, the glow began to spread...
