While Genma was dragging girls into the next room (the kitchen), Ranma decided to get something to eat. So he wandered out into the yard and sank his feet into the damp soil near the pond and spread his arms to catch the sunlight. He could eat normal food, but found that a photosynthesis each day took the urgency off of his hunger. With his father around, that was a big bonus.
After a while of enjoying the sun while his father tried to convince the girls how desirable they found Ranma, the dryad roused himself and wandered back inside. The girls had passed out with dreamy smiles plastered across their faces. Ranma shook his head at his father's stupidity. If the Mellow Yellow attack rendered the recipients suggestable the Chinese Amazons would have given up the chase.
Still, it looked like none of the girls would be functional for a while and Ranma guessed that they'd be really hungry when they revived, so he headed into the kitchen to kick his father out and prepare a meal for them.
