Ranma stared, eyes transfixed on the archival footage, captured by satellite eons ago. He watched in a daze, mesmerized by the images he saw. On the screen was a clock dating to the 1990's, more than seven years in his own future, where the world laid in scattered ruins.
Among the debris of buildings and scorched red earth, the lens zoomed in, focusing on a man in all black armor with a flowing black cape. He was seated on a horse the size of an elephant and leading an army of thousands against what remained of the Nanto Army.
Across the ship of Nirvana the faint of heart were forced to avert their eyes and more than few wretched while the elephantine horse stomped men flat, its rider sending streams of red energy from his body and dicing men like confetti.
Magno Vivan leaned forward in her seat, recognizing the video for what it was. “Seikimatsu Kyuuseishuu Densetsu…” she muttered below her breath, thinking none would hear her.
Too bad however, as BC, her 1st officer, caught the words. “Legend of the End of Century Savior?”
More than a few of the bridge girls averted their attention to the much more pleasant sight of Magno; all wondering in unison...
Dita looked up from her place, nursing her mallet wounds… “Isn’t alien power AMAZING!?”
Jura held her much abused ‘assets’ engaged in inner thought, vain though it might be… ‘I hope these bruises don’t ruin my complexion…’
Just outside the doorway, Duero clasped his chin in concentration, momentarily forgetting the needs of his favorite patient/partner, Parfait. “Most intriguing. He appears to be using energy similar to the Paeksys Pragma, wouldn’t you agree Parfait?”
Poor Parfait was too busy hurling chunks in a waste bin to pay any attention to the energy being thrown about…
