Akane instantly awoke and started sweating nervously as the werecat leaned over her. Still, it was bearable simply for the fact that this was Kasumi and she was in human form at the moment.
Ukyou and Kodachi, meanwhile had returned to their human form as well, the better to allow for space in the small room.
"Uh huh," Akane said, obviously sweating bullets. Kasumi smiled and straightened up.
"Oh good," she said, clapping her hands. "Ranma told us what happened."
"He told you that he and those Senshi tricked me?" Akane demanded angrily, sitting up. "And that cat floozy."
"No," Nabiki said. "He told us that you kept attacking a big chunk of silver with your fists! Akane can't you think for once? Silver plus werecreature equals pain?"
"Sheila did say you had immobilized the creature, however," Kasumi said tactfully. "The senshi apparently were very thankful for that they weren't quite sure whether or not they could handle it if it could walk around."
"You mean," Akane said. "I helped?" The idea that someone could praise her combat abilities was almost buried under the two years of being one of the least regarded fighters in Nerima.
"Yes, Akane," Kasumi said.
"But if you ever do something like that again," Nabiki said. "Why not try weapons? You're good at weapons anyway, and you don't have to actually touch the thing."
"So what if it was a little pain," Akane asked, she shrugged, and then wished she hadn't. "I'm no baby."
"They're right, Miss Tendo," Sander said. "Silver burns our souls, not just our bodies. You shouldn't take such risks. And I can tell you, that story is going to be making the rounds of the lycanthropes on Earth and Jade."
"You mean I'm going to be famous?" Akane asked.
"As either very brave..." the werewolf said.
"Or very stupid!" Nabiki set in. Akane flinched and then twitched from the pain that sent through her body. Nabiki only got this mad after Akane had done something that scared her badly. And the fact of a yelling werecat, even a short...wait a minute.
"How come you're short like that jagwere floozy of Ranma's?" Akane asked. Nabiki stopped cold.
"Uh...I'll umm...go get aw...err some sodas," Nabiki said before leaving the room...very quickly.
"Oh, don't mind her," Kasumi said. "She's still afraid that you'll kill her when you find out that she was with Ranma because of that dust."
"WHAT!!!!!"
This was the point that the nurses and doctors came in to try and restrain her and shuffle the guests out of the room.

"Sorry," Akane said sheepishly much later.
"I think we're kinda at fault here, too," Ukyou added sheepishly.
"Yes," Kodachi said. "Our deepest condolences for the problem."
The recipients of the apologies were the collection of werewolves and wererats in uniforms of various hospital staff. Two werewolves and five wererats.
"I suppose that Dr. Diggers must have missed you," Kasumi said, sighing.
Sander shook his head in disbelief at the situation.
"I'm really sorry," Akane repeated.
