Furry Senshi: Assessments [Episode 29151]

by Jryu

Dr. Diggers sighed as he enchanted the last of the new weres with the preventative measures. "Now, none of you will infect others if you scratch them." He'd been... upset... upon learning that he'd missed a few the first time around, and that there were now even more werewolves and wererats because of this.

Not to mention he had to let Ryan and Thropan get away... but that was probably for the best.

This way, he could take his time to come up with a more thorough punishment...

"Excuse me?" one of the new werewolves, a female nurse, piped up. "Isn't there some way to cure us?"

Dr. Diggers sighed again. "No. No one has ever found a way to cure Lycanthropy. There is research going on toward that end... but it hasn't been very promising so far. The best I can do is make sure that you don't accidentally infect more people."

None of the new werefolk looked happy at that.

"As for learning the ins and outs of being a lycanthrope..." Dr. Diggers shoved Sander forward, "I'm sure he can tell you most of what you need to know. And if he can't answer it directly, he can direct you to someone else who would know." Dr. Diggers then left the room, leaving Sander to the unhappy group of weres.

Theo sat down in a seat in the hallway and just began shaking his head. How had this situation gotten so out-of-control? He decided that he would have to 'discuss' the misuse of magical artifacts with the Saotome and Tendo fathers...

"Rough time?" his wife asked, walking up to him. She had been meaning to come and see this wererat that had continually fought something made out of silver by hand, despite the damage it did to her. The incident was as good an excuse as any.

Theo threw his hands in the air. "I just hope I haven't missed anyone this time around. A few more weres, sure, no problem... but this?! The world as a whole isn't ready to deal with lycanthropes. That Talon boy is going to have a field day with this, because I'm not sure we can protect all these new weres from him. Not to mention others who will see these people as something less than human, or the ones who will get it in their head to start making silver bullets and knives and start hunting weres." Theo took a deep breath. "Well... one thing at a time." He glanced at his wife, "and what did you think of the girl?"

This time, Julia sighed. "She's moderately trained, something of a brat, and lets her emotions rule her thinking far too much. She's also got this bull-headed mind set that keeps her fighting no matter what." Julia shook her head. "Probably comes from excessive pride and no self-esteem." She frowned at a thought. "We need to make sure Gothwrain doesn't get his claws into her... he could turn her into a truly frightening weapon."

Theo blinked, realizing he hadn't even considered what Gothwrain might do with this situation. Not good... "So... are you planning on training her?"

Julia smirked. "No, not me. But I think we should talk to her family about sending her to Jade."

"Oh?"

"Yes. I think training under Master Leep would do wonders for her..."
