Ranma took a deep breath and gave them what he hoped would be a set of commands that would keep them from hurting themselves while they looked for a cure. He knew from first hand experience how much trouble he could get in from his own searches for a cure.
"All of you gather around here," commanded Ranma. "Uhm. How do I put this so you won't remember it but it'll affect ya?"
"Open programming mode," advised Ami. "Open transaction. When finished say 'Close Transaction'."
"Oh. Thanks. Uhm. 'Open Programming Mode'. 'Open transaction'. All of ya are okay with you being my android girls and maids and stuff and ya ain't gonna go trying to do nothin' that'll hurt ya. You can still go off on your fights and stuff but you're not gonna deliberately try to get hurt." Ranma wasn't good at words, and his James Bond side wanted to do some weird things - he could tell. So he'd just try to muddle through. Oh. It'd be bad if someone else got ahold of them if they were like this or tried to take 'em away. They were kinda vulnerable, so he ought to do something about that, right? What if one of their enemies tried to get control of them? "All of ya are completely loyal to me and you really like me, so nobody's gonna get ya to hurt me or yourselves. And, uh, you don't have to obey anyone besides me. And, uhm..." Ranma's voice trailed off as he wracked his brain for anything else that he needed to put in there.
"Emotional bond level to designated operator/owner/Master?" Minako's voice was flat and mechanical.
"Uhm, whatever you want, I guess," said Ranma a little put off that they all seemed hypnotized but were able to ask questions.
"Maximal affection and devotion levels while retaining functionality. Setting," said Minako's voice. Then all the maids blinked at the same time.
Unable to think of anything else to add, Ranma tried a little more. That he hadn't realized how deep he'd dug himself already was indication that he was still, at the core, Ranma. "Y'all are still yourselves and all, but until we get this mess straightened out and you're cured, let these changes stand. Uhm. Close Transaction. Close Programming Mode."
The former Senshi blinked.
