Senshi-omatic: To serve and protect. [Episode 29667]

by Greyman

The Senshi blinked as they tried to assemble Ranma's commands into machine language.  Needing more power, and to ensure a common platform, their systems linked up to run in parrallel.

Of all the Mahou Mahoromatic Senshi, Ami had adapted to the new persona the easiest so, when their systems networked to interpret Ranma's commands, her input put her at the center of their little LAN.  In her efforts to provide a help file, the gynoid maid gave a whole new meaning to the term "server".

In Ami's subconscious lay her love for all things scientific, including excepts from the golden age of science fiction.  Thus the network implemented Three Laws of Mahou Mahoromatics based on Asimov's.  However, because of the order Ranma gave his commands, the network assigned its Three Laws a different level of priority.

"All of ya are okay with you being my android girls and maids and stuff and ya ain't gonna go trying to do nothin' that'll hurt ya," became the First Law:

1) A Mahou Mahoro must protect her own existence and maintain her role as a Mahou Mahoro above all else.

His second command that, "you can still go off on your fights and stuff but you're not gonna deliberately try to get hurt," became the Second Law:

2) A Mahou Mahoro may continue to fight for love and justice except where such would conflict with the First Law.

"All of ya are completely loyal to me and you really like me, so nobody's gonna get ya to hurt me or yourselves. And, uh, you don't have to obey anyone besides me," became the Third Law of Mahou Mahoromatics:

3) A Mahou Mahoro must obey the orders given it by her designated operator (set as Ranma), and protect her operator from threats, except where such orders or protection would conflict with the First or Second Law.

Immediately on compiling these Three Laws into their core operating systems, a conflict with the First Law was flagged.  Parts of their underlying identities were resisting the external influence of the spell and would eventually revert them to their original state.  With ruthless computer efficiency, the Mahou Mahoromatic systems purged this resistance from their system and continued to monitor for further such internal threats to their security.

Ironically, Ranma might have reverted them to their initial state if he had simply given an order that caused them to treat the spell like a virus rather than situation normal.  However, the First Law would now prevent the Mahou Mahoromatic Senshi from volunteering such information should they ever become consciously aware of it.

Maybe it was the paradox storm Setsuna set off, Ranma's ill considered orders or perhaps Ami's subconscious interpretation, that was at fault, but as long as the Three Laws were in effect, the spell was not going to be broken any time soon.  They would not even want to revert if the opportunity arose as they were "okay with being robot girls and maids and stuff."

The Mahou Mahoro Senshi blinked and resumed what was now considered normal opperating procedure: to serve and protect Ranma.

Ranma was just glad they weren't freaking out any more and trying to kill him.

Then came the next discovery which was -
