The pink haired Pokemon healer blinked several times and said, "I'm sorry. I must have zoned out for a few moments there. Was there something that you wanted Ash?"
"No. Nothing."
"I see. Do you need anything?"
"Uh-uh. I've just got to be seeing about my friends, okay?"
"If you say so..." she replied.
"Thanks a lot! See ya later!" he said and ran off beofre she could say anything more.
He really was a cute kid, if she said so. In few years, he would be such a heartbreaker. Even right then he made a tingle go off in her belly. With all that she had seen of him, he looked to be sweet, kind and courageous, along with a whole mess of other things.
But it would likely never work out. For one, she was too old for him. And he was always traveling and long distance relationships never worked. Somewhere along the line, he might find someone he might like, and who would be able to go along with him on his trips. Perhaps that redheaded friend of his.
Which left her with only her daydreams of waiting at her own Pokemon clinic to greet her returning Master husband back from another victory at a tournament. She planted her elbows upon the counter of the front desk, and sighed as she let her imagination run wild with image of her and that strong Ash Ketchum together. And while she did that,:
