"Actually," a powerful voice rumbled from nearby, "I think... Lilith ...has an appointment with her mother."
Both the young Succubus and the Slayer turned in shock at the voice. Then, out of the shadows of the building, walked a black and red werewolf.
B. B. Hood became worried. She'd always been particularly fond of hunting werewolves - one of them had killed her maternal grandmother the very night she became the Slayer, and then there was the whole 'Red-Riding Hood/Big Bad Wolf' thing...
But right now, all her instincts were yelling at her that the Biggest, Baddest Wolf of them all had just shown up... and she was low on ammo.
"But daddy!" Lilith whined. "Can't I play with her just for a little while?" The pink-haired succubus looked as cute as she could to try and pursued her father. "I've been good, all this time. I really need a good brawl to unwind. Please!!"
"Maybe later. I think everyone wants some answers first... and I suspect you can give them. Besides, your playmate's gone."
"What?" Lilith asked, turning. But the decided lack of B. B. Hood indicated that the Slayer had chosen to exercise the better part of valor. "Awww..."
Endymion walked over and effortlessly picked up his future daughter. "Come on. Your mother is waiting."
