"Rika? Who’s Hotaru?" Jeri inquired of her friend and fellow Digimon Tamer as she glanced over the Digimon queen's shoulder.
"Hmm oh yeah! I remember her... I was walking along and a bunch of losers were picking on this girl... well actually she was out cold when I arrived.... and then they started to threaten me..." Rika gave a cold grin. " SO I had Renamon walk ALL OVER THEM. Then helped the girl to my house. Her parents came to pick her up later."
Jeri nodded at this and smiled. It seems the cold hearted queen had a soft spot in her even before the events of the D-reaper. Now if only she could get her away from Takato... and wait a minute.
"Say... doesn't that invitation say that one boy and two girls are being hand fasted to marry?"
"Your right...hmmm..." as one the two girls looked at each speculatively and then their gazes turned to a certain Goggle wearing Tamer who was reading Calumon's own invitation (Seems a certain marshmallow had stumbled into Ryo-ohki during one of her frequent explorations) for her. Anybody watching the two would have been frightened by the twin evil smiles that lit up their faces as they considered the possibilities.
Takato paused to turn to a lounging Renamon as a cold shiver ran up his spine. "You ever have the feeling that your fate has just been sealed?". Renamon spotting her Tamer's grin just smirked, men were so clueless.
"Takato-mon what’s a wedding?"

Others were friends of Sasami's
"Oh look! That girl at the shrine is getting married! Isn't it romantic!" Cooed Kagome to a certain reluctant Half-demon
"Feh... wench we have to get going the Shikon shards must be found!"
"Oh no! We have to prepare to enjoy this! Its only three or four days!"
"What!! Why you insufferable girl! We don't have time for your stupid weddings and your idiotic friend will have to suffer and ..."
"SIT BOY!" Kagome yelled watching with amusement as Inuyasha landed face first onto the concrete..... She then grabbed his ears and dragged him off. "Oooh a wedding Ii need a new dress... and we have to find something suitably dashing for you to wear Inu-yasha...and you WILL behave!"
"Ow ow ow ow!!! Let go of my ear!!! Wait where are we going.. whats this mall...nooooooo!!!" And with that Inu-yasha went to the bane of all men everywhere.. Shopping with your girlfriend!!

Terry and Ryu Bogard blinked at the twin invitations in there hands, the alien postman having interrupted a match between the two. Both had heard of this Saotome... supposed to be decent for his age range...
Andy was suffering a similar fate as Inu-yasha as Mai dragged him to a boutique in order to find proper clothing after receiving there invitation.
Iori almost threw his card out... until he heard that Kyo to had gotten an invitation and was planning to go as well... No way would he let a Kusanagi show him up at this! IT had nothing to do whatsoever with Leona's own tentative inquiry about if he had a date... nope nothing at all!!

Buffy blinked at her invitation....then back up at the receding form of the bicycle man. Then back at her invitation... before finally turning to her watcher Giles
"Alright spill it... I just KNOW there has to be a prophesy involved with this!

Others were friends of the family: "Narf! Hey Brain mail call for you..."
"Hmmm Sasami Jurai? Oh yes.... she's a friend of my pen pal Washu... hmm.. Well I suppose we could take a break from trying to take over the world for one night..." The big headed lab mouse pondered if he should come in his mecha suit or just as he is...

"Oh Duncan! Isn't it grand! My old friend Funaho's step daughter is getting married! I haven't seen her in...Oh well over a 1000 years, since we stole that idiot Samurai’s jewel collection together." The immortal thief Amanda practically draped her self around her love the highlander, while reading the letter attached to the invitation.
The Scottish immortal smiled a bit... well perhaps a little vacation would do them good. Besides the invitation clearly stated that swords were allowed as formal wear... no need to worry about an ambush. Besides he always did enjoy a good wedding, even if he was cursed to never have one of his own "Oh alright than I'll be your date..."
Amanda smirked saucily before giving Duncan a hot wet kiss before jumping back up and heading to the elevator.” Good than. Now that that is settled, I need to find an appropriate outfit to wear... I'll be back soon..."
Duncan grinned as he watched Amanda walkout his mind turning over to what he had to wear that could fit his Katanna as a formal decoration and perhaps....wait a minute.... Amanda's purse was still on the chair... how did she plan to buy a dress with out her...wallet.
Slowly as if dreading the answer Duncan's hand reached to his back pocket. yup no wallet... that meant...
"AMANDAAAAAA!!!!!"

Others invitations had little logic to them.
"Okay Scully.... how do you explain this?" Milder inquired as he looked down at the invitation (along with an attached note telling him he could attend so long as he behaved himself.)
Scully it should be noted was at once at lost for words... a flying man on a bicycle was little to much for her. "I'm chalking it up to too much work Mulder..." privately she to mused what one wore to an alien wedding.
Elsewhere a certain Smoking man met with his colleagues reviewing their own photo of Mulder's invitation.
"This can not be allowed... the others have grown nervous with the Jurians getting closer ties to the earth."
"What can we do? The couple to be wed is already on Jurai and out of our normal range."
"Perhaps the bounty hunter?"
The cigarette smoking man paused and then addressed the board. "Already tried.. The shape shifter refused. Seems some of his species tried to replace the emperor of Jurai 800 years ago... The assassin was caught but managed to hurt one of the princesses in the process... they lost a third."
"A third of their assassin cell?"
"No a third of their entire RACE.... the Jurains.. weren't pleased with the attempt"
"You ever get the feeling we decided to back the wrong side?" Squeaked one of the men in the room... as they all saw their goal of ruling the earth under the Grays slip farther and farther away..

Others were invited for purely practical reason.: General Hammond blinked. "Let me get this straight.. Thor just arrived in earth's orbit in order to...pick up some wedding guests for some ceremony on a planet named Jurai, where one of their crown princesses is going to be married to two EARTH HUMANS? HOW DID WE NOT KNOW OF THIS???!!!"
Jack O’Neil nodded nervously "That would appear the case sir and I don't know."
Samantha Carter added her own two cents in "Not to mention that SG was given an invitation as well as stargate coordinates for this Jurian Empire... you know in some cultures such formalities often can lead to business ties..."
Hammond nodded "I am well aware of it...which is why SG-1 will be accepting the invitation. I'd send another SG team, but their all busy on other planets. Col. O’Neil... TRY to keep whatever trouble you get into down to a dull roar... We want to make a GOOD first impression for a change."
"What makes you think I can't stay out of trouble?" Jack defensively responded.
"Experience." blandly replied Hammond, Teal'c, Samantha, and even the aides. Jack just Scowled.
Elsewhere in the universe as certain race of God pretending alien parasites went Apeshit once the news reached them that the troublesome planet Earth would gain a new powerful ally...
