Filia's slender draconic body reared back away from the oncoming war machine and then she launched her head forward.
Xellos nearly blinked in surprise as he caught sight of the released blast and felt the wind of the backwash and displaced air. All dragon-breath had an astral presence, but this...more than half of it was on the astral plane.
If anything, the physical wave of chilling sound was more of a side-effect than the astral strike. In the same way that light was the side-effect of a Ra-Tilt. Indeed, it was like looking at a Ra-Tilt magnified to Dragon-Slave proportions. Or...a reverse dragon-slave.
Where the Dragon-Slave was a hefty physical attack with a side-effect of astral damage. Filia's breath, depending on just how much effort and energy she put into it, was a hefty astral attack with a side-effect of physical damage.
Golems were built to resist standard physical and energy assaults. This was done in the same manner that the golem was powered in the first place. The presence of a basic elemental spirit tied into the physical structure.
Filia's blast ripped through that animated spirit on the astral plane easily, and as that was torn away the physical body was scattered easily.
Xellos was considering this and being impressed when he felt...something...a weapon of light going berserk.
"Filia-chan!" he called out. "Enough playing around, we've got to go!"
"Pla...pla...PLAYING AROUND?!!" Filia growled from where she was catching her breath. She was considering now that perhaps she had put too much into that attack. "Why you perverted Namagomi..."
And as the Mazoku and the Sapphire dragon made for the burst of power.
"My...my...my golem..." Galav whined.
