Ranma and the girls turned, to find a large crew of rowdies with cudgels and lascivious grins spreading out to surround them.

Ranma blinked. "Which boat's yours?"

"The 'Smuggler's Paradiso', new meat," answered one of the thugs, this one armed with tonfa despite being clearly Chinese.

• everybody was kung fu fighting! wa - taaaa!
• skip the fight as Ranma and the new crew of the smuggler ship try to figure out how to pilot it.
• Ranma doesn't want to cause problems and a peaceful solution is found.
• As one of the above, but there was also a captured Interpol agent to rescue, a slaver/kidnapping operation to foil, and a... magic violin?!
• As above, but perhaps not all the elements.
• something else maybe?
