Widespread panic in the cities of Earth as the skies were (literally) darkened by the presence of the fleets of Planet Playtex.
Flying saucers everywhere!
The aliens were not invisible either. They would teleport into places and grab people on camera during newscasts! Then teleport away again.
Earth's military seemed defenseless against this alien menace.
The thing to remember was the numbers.
Planet Playtex was an older civilization, had spread to nearby moon colonies and four of the planets of their solar system.
So there were roughly 250,000,000,000 citizens. Breaking down the numbers, you had a certain percentage being Lingerie Amazons, others being Softwear Technomages, still others being the various other castes and jobs.
All, of course, looking pretty much like they had stepped off some B-movie set, marching perfectly in unison in their high heels, jiggling in lace, perfectly toned bodies overrunning resistance.
The invaders had superior numbers, superior technology, high strength and speed and stamina. They even had permission from the US political power known as the National Organization of Women to not only take all the men from the planet, but to eat their brains! (This last part was interpreted to mean that human females had some practices in keeping with spiders. So now the Lingerie Amazons had to save these poor human males from that fate!)
What was Earth to do?!
