Still, it didn't make it any more interesting. This was the sort of work that she could do on her own, so that level of responsiblity felt good upon her shoulders, and heavy at the same time. All while she would work, she would wonder if she would somehow disappoint her Sempai. She had yet to do so, and she didn't plan on thsi being the first.
So, she was working very diligently when she thought that she had seen a glow at the eyes of Unit 01, but whatever it was was gone when she looked. Frowning in thought she wondered if there was something wrong with the Eva, or if she was just imagining things. Odd things did happen at NERV, but she wasn't sure if this was one.
What she didn't know was that Shinji Ikari had made a wish, which had resulted in his mother was:
