The SRU wizard blinked a bit at the purchase. "Ah. Golden Sun. Psynergy in a magical world. I'm quite sure you'll enjoy it."

Shinji sighed and shook his head. The SRU wizard watched him go and clasped his hands on the counter.

"How? I thought that was still in the back room. I wonder how it got out. At any rate, since I didn't see it comming, I'm quite sure NERV and SEELE won't either."

Not bothering to look behind him, Shinji went home and put the game into his burnt orange GBA.

As soon as he turned it on...

• 1 Shinji, Rei, and Asuka were drawn into the game
• 2 Shinji develops Psynergy
• 3 Shinji alone gets pulled into the game
• 4 Shinji, Rei, and Asuka all develop Psynergy
• As option 4, but the Golden Sun monsters are unleashed upon Tokyo-3
