Cologne frowned, she had heard the name before. Being 300+ years old didn't mean that she was possessed of perfect memory for like anything else certain memories when not renewed on a regular basis were harder to focus on as they were submerged under newer memories/experiences. But like each memory there was a unique trait that distinguished one experience from another, unfortunately she couldn't remember the unique trait.
Though she wouldn't readily admit it to anyone she liked the way these youngsters looked up to her for obscure bits of information, usually it was the only way she stayed in the loop when something important/weird happened.
It was Ranma of all people that saved her from admitting ignorance.
"Purple flames." He said in a half whisper, trembling slightly.
Cologne's eyes narrowed as the memories she had searched for surfaced, reassembling themselves into a terrifying picture that left the Amazon Elder staring wide eyed at Ranma as the pale martial artist raised a hand, shaped it into a cupped palm and instantly produced a small purple flame as his trembling increased. The brief glimpse she got of his face showed something like horror.
Turning to Nodoka Cologne saw an expression of....
